For those of us who dont have excel and havent been able to use ukmonkeys spreadsheet I have found that I can get it to open via google docs. Thanks to debthater for suggesting google docs for something else.

I suspect the layout would look better on excel but google docs is an option if anyone wants to try it. The sheet looks useful but too complicated for me to get my head round this morning. I'll stick with Josie's sheet for this year as I've got used to it and I cant be bothered to swap the info over.

And again thanks to everyone on the forum who has given a helping hand to us newbies. :T

I don't see very much on RE at all. Last time they phoned me for something I asked why, and she said she couldn't check without specific assignment numbers.

I notice from the alerts thread there have been loads of uploads. I haven't seen any restaurants or sports shops. Now, maybe I'm just a slowtop, but I think it's more of an RE glitch. Or maybe there are none in any of my areas? I also have a business/ business email registered with them - never seen any business related jobs. I'm 34, so age range eligible for a lot of stuff.

Here comes my huuuuge favour ask - could anyone pm me an assignment number for a restaurant job I could use to phone RE, so they can tell me why I don't see them?

Have you set your postcodes up correctly? I find that I have to use city centre postcodes, otherwise I cant see any jobs.

For example, my house postcode is CT2, but to see jobs in Canterbury I have to use a city centre postcode which is CT1. Weird!

Dont see any restaurant jobs but can see a couple of sports jobs in lanarkshire. Is that in your search area? Can pm you one of them if you want.

They seem to have no concept of distances and travel in the UK: many's the time I've battled to explain that x place is 50 miles from my home, entails various queuing blackspots and has no free car parking when I get
there The reaction I usually get makes me realise that 50 miles X 2 is a "nip down the road and back" in some parts of Australia!

Also, they assume that, just because I have visited a particular site once or twice over the last couple of years, I am happy to make it a regular occurrence.

Explaining that I have no desire to do their petrol assignments when I am already overloaded with petrol assignments (that pay me a fee) is an ongoing fight as well!
You're right, a 50 mile trip is a "nip down the road" in Australia! I know, I lived there for 26 years. When I came to England I was shocked when my English husband suggested that a day trip entailing a 2 hour drive would require an overnight stay. Huh!?!?! :eek:That's what we regularly travel when going to work. :rotfl:
Also petrol costs probably about a 10th of what it costs here but it still doesn't excuse their assumption that you would willingly do this trip, tell them you're on an hourly rate of £15 per hour and it will take 3 hours. :D

My postcodes are set up ok - although given this is RE, who knows? HP has kindly given me a sports assignment number to ask them about.

As I posted a few pages back it will be an RE It glitch.

Ring Robert Muir on 01908 328033 regarding the business related jobs.
They have 'phone calls at a reasonable fee:cool: that need to be done.

All the hotel jobs have gone for this month-more will be on their way for April.:D

Can't see any Restaurant jobs so can't help there.

That's it. I give up on RE. They can go stick there jobs where the monkey hides his nuts. No wonder they have sports jobs still there this morning. I need new trainers but I prefer to buy my own as I can't be a****d with that rubbish website.

The accreditation questions are set wrong and they have spelt accessory as acessory.

I set up my RE with town names. Going to try adding postcodes instead to see what happens! I haven't seen any restaurants or sports shops, but I'm 23 so I obviously never eat out, buy cars or visit sports shops :p
