I'm having problems as well. I click to apply for an assignment and an error message comes up saying that I cannot apply :(
I'm having the same problem. Everything I tried to apply for this evening I got an error message saying I'm not eligible for the job. Why do they show them to me in the first place then

Took one of the eye jobs for today because I had another job in the same area. I booked using a false name and address. Anyway, they found a major problem with one of my eyes and asked for my doctors details cos I really needed to get it sorted urgently! They wanted a second opinion from the hospital and needed to refer me... What a dilemma! I just said I wasn`t sure of the details cos I was a new patient and I would drop them in or give them a ring so the optremist could get in contact. I phoned the MS company and explained what had happened, cos the opticians will think it odd that I have not got back with my doctors details.
I have another MS one now booked locally for tomorrow, using my real details this time....so fingers crossed it all goes well and I can get sent to the hospital asp.:(
I hope you get it sorted quickly and find it's nothing too serious. At least you are getting a second opinion by having that other appointment booked for tomorrow.

I applied for a few jobs last week from ESA, one of which was in a area I was in today only, never got any of them !, but got home today and got a phone call asking me to do one of the jobs I had a applied for and never got !, it seems the person who got the job did not do it !, I explained that I was only in that area today and would not be back for a while, but he was very pushy with a 'Why not attitude', I told him that maybe if they had given me the job in the first place we would not be having this conversation.

Anyway I don't think I will apply for anymore ESA jobs as I like to plan my work and don't like their system of wait and see if you get the job or not !.

Well, I hope everything's OK. Let's hope the second optician picks up on the same thing and you can get it looked at.

I am only doing one optician, and with real details, for similar reasons: I already have a hospital appointment booked for minor surgery and am wondering what they will say when I have the eye test! The trouble is, when you use your real details, you get inundated with reminders for years afterwards. I now have trouble working out when I am really due for an eye test because I did so many opticians jobs at one point. I really can't remember which of may pairs of glasses came from where, either!

I did the same opticians 8 months ago for a different company and used my real details. I used the presciption to buy specs elsewhere but they are the worst ever...can`t see a bloomin thing, especially name badges! Thought I was being clever this time! I wasn`t recognised ! The Optremist I saw only works there one day a week, so now I am hoping that he doesn`t work in the one I am going to today :o
I am gonna go through the motions as before and hope they pick up the problem. They tested me 3 times yesterday just to make sure the test results were accurate...then sat me down in a room and explained what they had found...I was in a terrible state when I had to go through the frame choices...I just wanted to get out of the place and onto my phone. Gave them a good report for their caring attitude!
  • Hope all goes well for you today Squeaky, and whatever the problem is, hope you can get it sorted out quickly.

Oh dear, that's a bit of a worry - It must be good that you are having so many eye tests that they can pick it up, though.
I think if it was me, I would have pannicked, abandoned any pretence of mystery shopping and come clean
