4 airport jobs for the morning I fly out -I love RE (I won't love em so much when I'm writing the reports with jetlag tho
) pays my fare to the airport and provides brekkie. Just phoned them and they've given me extra time to submit so can sleep before doing them although I'm hoping one of my flights in the US will have midair internet so I can get it done on my way to Vegas.
Just discovered we have a vastly underadvertised coach service from Medway to Gatwick (with onboard internet) so might try that instead of the train as journey times are similar
Now does anyone have any ideas what I'm going to do with two (nice) loaves of bread and two bottles of water I'm going to need to buy landside and then lose before I go through security ? Seems a shame to just dump them when food is so expensive at the airport. I was thinking there's a travellers assistance place in the south terminal I could try unless anyone has a better idea
Ah well. We all have different opinions about RE. personally I think it shows their utter stupidity. Only they would ask someone going on a flight to buy 2 bottles of water and 2 loaves of bread. On a long haul flight.
Enjoy Vegas BTW it is fab. Don't lose your shirt in those casino's.Clique member no 1.:D0 -
I don't do Gap much anymore but I don't remember them as instant clearance anyway -I usually see money 2/3 days after it shows as paid with most companies -I'm with NatWest-when I was with one of the "non big 4" banks it took a day longer.I Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole

Don't think I said - my first job for RE was approved and I got 10 points - is that good or bad?
It's been discussed a few times on here and the consensus seems to be the points aren't used for anything!
10 points is the norm, and they deduct 2 points for cancelling a job.
Maybe once you get a certain amount of points you get to see other jobs, but I've never seen any evidence of this.0 -

And how would they know ? It's a landside job -jobs actually one per terminal hence 2 loaves- (as clear by my comment about going through security) so they'd have no way of knowing if the MSer was flying let alone where to . Plenty of people work at airports -I used to be one myself
Strikes me with any company if you want to you'll be able to find fault -but I think you're stretching this one a bit !!I Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole

Well I don't know any MS'ing company who have as many problems as RE. Ridiculous scenarios ie pharmacies, software that is forever not working, poor fees.
I have said before IMHO they are the Woolworth's of the MS'ing world and I would love to see them go the way of Woolies. Maybe then the fees would go up with other companies.Clique member no 1.:D0 -

thought i had been recognised yesterday as the manager was serving and would not stop staring at me whilst i was in the queue. however when he served me he barely looked at my face once and spent most of the time staring at my chest so maybe i pulled lol :rotfl:
Whereas I'm trying to read a namebadge and I'm hoping that the assistant thinks I'm looking at her chest!!! :rotfl::rotfl:
Can see the headlines.... "Supermarket peeping tom claims to be a mystery shopper!"0 -

Well if you don't like their fees or scenarios-don't accept their jobsMindreading isn't on my list of criteria for MS companies though
I'm quite picky now about what I accept but apart from wordiness don't have any problems with them-and there's certainly a couple of oft mentioned MS companies here I will almost never accept assignments for but RE isn't one of them. They have a reasonable amount of decent local jobs, personally I don't have the IT issues some have and are always super helpful on the phone-but as you say we all have our own opinions of the difeerent companies according to our experiences. Yours with RE are obviously different to mine.............Now does anyone have any ideas about where at Gatwick to give these loaves away ...(that was the original question I seem to remember :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:)I Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole

There was a bloke in my local supermarket one day with a t shirt which read. ( he is facing the checkout operator at the time.
Please ask your breasts to stop staring at my eyes.

There may be something in this, but I am seriously starting to wonder if the reverse may not be true also. I have racked my brains for other reasons I may not be able to see most of the jobs on the alerts board but can find none. I'm wondering if maybe they are actively looking for inexperienced shoppers who they think may act more like regular customers who are giving their opinions rather than pros (as counterintuitive as that may be) That's just my theory btw - no hard facts to back it up!0
