I got a call asking if I could do some bank jobs, said yes but asked for more money as not worth it in fees. Offered me the extra, sent me the brief - no kids!!! Aggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhh so I'll have to cancel them! Why don't they ask these things???

They rang while I was cooking so it was a snap decision to do the job - got excited at the prospect of the extra money and now I can't do it!
i think nearly all jobs are no kids unless its a food visit for kids too

If its any help, I always completed mine using Google Docs (part of Google Mail) even though I have MS Office anyway, just saved downloading and uploading all the time.

I have invites available for Google Mail if you want to use it

You have not convinced me yet you do not swan about in burger joints wearing a flowery dress.. We only have your word for it.

Just been offered a couple of jobs with Blueapple. My first from them. Fees look ok but dont have access to briefing or questionnaire. Anyone worked for them? Just checking that I'm not going to get sucker punched with a dodgy scenario and 200 question report. And how do you submit your pay claim?

I have done some work for their sister company, they both share your information and they have emailed me the briefing/questionnaire then you fill that in and email it back to them, the questionnaire was yes / no and a few comments, very easy, no unnecessary duplications of mass comments on this one.

As Hollypear says they are a lovely company to work for and they are very approachable and they did my fees for me, I had no form to complete.

As previously mentioned the majority of MS company's wouldn't ask about children because most people go to work without children so it isn't an issue for them, they assume that you will be doing it solo. To be honest I think if you/anyone actually rang the MS co's and asked they would probably all say no children unless eating as a family... I think we can sometimes get away with it because we blend in, but I suspect if we were then challenged on the MS job, we would be at fault.. I know some others have done lots with children, but have they actually asked if that's ok....!

Can I ask why GAP is called GYP? and are there any other name changes?

I bestowed that nickname on them and others have picked it up. I also nicknamed RE Ridiculous Eyeballs.

We started conversing via email, but I think the agent lacked enough English skills, and from memory she called me. I'm pretty sure she did, because I did ask why we couldnt continue it via email and she laughed.
Then she gave me the bad news....... I must have had a sex change I didnt know about!

I know we have mentioned this a few times but Banks are definately a no no with children and I understand that most jobs state no children unless otherwise stated - one that allows children is Pizza places, I can't think of any others that do.

I got the opposite. I have an elderly mum and was doing a department store and mentioned it would be nice to take her as it was a distance away and I said mum would enjoy the trip and I could treat her to lunch. This posh store have a fab restaurant. I was told no she might distract me.
