Can anyone refer me to Bare International?

  • Got an email from GFK regarding phone shops saying they were comming to an end and needed 10 or so stores covering.

Have i missed something as i've never seen these on their site
I think I heard before that it's an age thing. I use to get them before I turned 40 but then after that, nothing. Does that apply to you? I don't know how old you are.

    i'm only 23 :(

Don't think i'm too young for a phone. But i don't think 40 is to old for one lol
I get what i want. That isn't because i'm a brat or spoilt. It's because i'm determined, i work hard for it and i achieve my goals!
  • whatever you do, check the price of ink online for the printer before you buy! mine is so stupidly expemsive and is more for ink that the blasted thing cost! i have tried the 2x cartridge and am noting how many pages i get. after that if it is still a lot i am looking into getting one where i can buy £5 re-filled cartridges :)

Thanks clippy_girl, that's my big worry too. Apparently Epsom ink is relatively inexpensive but their entry-level printers can be a bit dodgy. Think i'll subscribe to Which? magazine for some pointers!

I had an email come through a few months back from Gap, saying that I had been recognised on CCTV as a 30yr old woman wearing a flowery dress with dark brown hair. There was a phone number on the email asking me to call in, so when I did, they were surprised it was a male that called. In fact, I'm mid twenties, male with blonde hair and I have never worn a flowery dress in my life lol. So the client really mucked up there!
All over the fact that they didnt have a good report..... something about the timings if I remember correct, they kept me waiting for ages and then the fries were cold due to being left on the tray for so long.
They tried to get the report thrown out as the 30yr old woman didnt check the toilets.... of course she didnt, she wasnt the MS'er! I was!

This made me laugh hard :rotfl:. Next time try a sarong, it worked for David Beckham :D. What's the point of paying big bucks to hire an MS co to carry out covert assignments then get p!ssy about it when you get results you don't want to hear?! :rotfl:.

Off to my regular job now with a cheery smile on my face, thanks for making me laugh :D.

Can I ask why GAP is called GYP? and are there any other name changes?

Perhaps they should open it up to us "oldies" over 40 then since we also use phones (shock amazement:eek:) and perhaps then the jobs would be done and reports on table ready for their client? :)

why oh why on most MS sites are the north east regions not listed properly. I'm in Sunderland which is part of Tyne & Wear, its not Northumberland, nor is it County Durham and its definitely not Cleveland....... So bl**dy annoying.

I miss out on loads of phone and technology jobs because of my age. :( Some of those I do get are a real hoot: they ascertain my needs by looking at me - "Oh, so you're looking for an easy to use phone, then?" - the next step must be "So, you'll be needing one with big buttons, then?":rotfl:

New poster here, been lurking around the site for a few years and got some great hints from this thread for my MS.

I have one problem that I am hoping others can help me with (and I am sure this has not been discussed before and nor is it in the first few posts)

I had to do an electrical retailer tonight and was to enquire about one product with a given price/spec from the briefing notes. The shop assistant approached me fine and asked if they could help and I said I was looking to replace my fridge freezer and waiting for them to ask me questions.... and waited... and waited and then he came up with "what make is your existing one" which I answered that I was not sure and that I was not brand driven anyhow,.. and then he asked should he leave me to have a look. I answered yes and carried on browsing round and then was approached by another assistant who did sort of ask the right questions.

What I am wondering is what should I have done in the situation of the first assistant not really being interested, let them leave me or give them more of the scenario to see if that starts them helping me (and write this up in the report?)
