Hiya. I'm just working out fuel costs again.......
Does everyone work it out at 40p per mile? or how to work it cheaper?
I ask as I have just accepted 2 jobs 17.2 miles away from my home. Now fuel wise at 40p p.m its costing me £6.88. Surely this cant be right? not worth me doing them then.
Im making a loss! :eek::eek::eek:
It doesn't COST you 40p/mile - that's what you claim back to cover your travel.0 -
has anyone spotted themselves at their house on google earth? one of my neighbours has their door open and you can see her sitting on the sofa!

Hoping someone can help. Does anyone have the job notes for a mortgage phonecall job for GFK to a building society? It was for about two weeks ago.
I can't find my print off and I need the job number off it. The job has disappeared from my account and they won't chase it up without the job number.
Thanks.0 -
does anyone know a good cheap ink website (or re-filling one)? i have been putting my printing at 6p per sheet and just added up the total for my last cartridge only comes to £18.28 and the bloody cartridge was £23.99 :mad::mad: i changed my printer to low quality but didnt realise it changes back to good each time so what a waste of ink! had to make a last minure dash to pc world and get a new one! not happy. found a really cheap re-filling shop on ebay but they cant do my cartridge.:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j0

It's messy but you can refil them yourself. I used to have a Lexmark and cost £25 each new for ink. £18 if i get them refilled (Have since bought epsom where i can get the ink for £3/4 off ebay)
You buy refilling kits with just the ink. Think you'll find them on ebay. What printer/Cartridge?I get what i want. That isn't because i'm a brat or spoilt. It's because i'm determined, i work hard for it and i achieve my goals!0 -

Hi guys I had a strange job last night and I'm wondering if anyone else has had this happen and what happens re payment, expenses, revisit etc.?
I accepted a job to visit a local (seedy) bar in the city centre and was told to arrive between midnight and quarter past. I propped my eyes open with matchsticksand visited another bar while I waited for my onstage time! Fortunately I was allowed to take a guest so I took my sister with me and we had a good laugh at how there were no other bars open in that part of town on a Thursday night and we were guaranteed to be the only 2 customers in there.
We arrived in the bar at 7 minutes after midnight and we were the only 2 people in there! We were told by the member of staff that we'd missed last orders, the bar was closing and we'd have to leave!
I've emailed the company this morning but was just wondering how to position with them with regards to payments and expenses (for matchsticks and under eye conceraler for today )?:rotfl:
Hopefully they won't ask me to revisit as it's not the nicest of places but the pay offered was excellent!
Sorry for the long story...
I think it depends on who the ms company is. RE were really good and still paid me the fee even though the place was shut. (Also made sure I took a photo of the closed shop). When the same occurred with TNS, I was told that as I had not completed the shop, I would receive zilch ££££'s and the place would have to be reshopped by someone else.0 -
RE: GOOGLE EARTH
GREAT! I've just seen myself get into my car on the driveway. At least it's not a fat photo for once but the outside of the house looks shabby as it was just stripped to get painted and my old car was an old bomb. And guess what else, yes bin day, just after they've collected so the bins are all over the place. What a great advert for my street! At least it will put any burglars offOops, just noticed a full skip right across the road!
