Thanks for that, I too am female and thought I would stand out like a sore thumb! I will give it a go then, hopefully it's busy and I just blend in!! My local teams aren't playing til Sunday, do going to have to bet on an obscure one for Saturday.

bit tricky to start. The football sheets were close to the entrance so picked one of those up and 'studied hard' while looking up once and a while being nosey lol

Just be confident. I also filled in for the odds card which took 10 mins (only one staff member working) so was there a good 30 mins in total.

Just remember hold your head up. I feel out of place sometimes but i know it's all in my own head lol

Just got some really good, positive feedback from the company I did my first job for last weekend. Hopefully there'll be more work forthcoming and it was nice to see the rating system used.

Do they close the office for lunch?????

Been trying to call them for half an hour re: a hotel conference call I'm doing - the first one was fine, but nowhere on the 2nd's assignment spec are there any details for the phone number, job number & PIN I need to record the call!!

Keep getting an answering message saying there is noone there to take my call !!

Well I'm not impressed with RE today. After putting my bookies visit to tomorrow I got a call from RE asking me to pick up a missed job from last weekend. Same town as bookies. Also had an RE phone shop for same town that I was going to do today. Great, change dates and do them all today. Have they changed dates? No. Can I change the dates? No. Can I get an answer when I phone them? No.

I had been painting in the house and hurried to try and free up time to do these jobs. Have now released two of the jobs as I just cant be bothered with this. Still have the bookies for tomorrow but I wouldnt bet (see what I did there) against somebody at RE now changing the date on it.

I'm away to the pub.

I'm starting to think they just put this automated thing on when they don't want to talk to people. I tried calling all day one friday pretty much and had a variety of problems - either no one picked up the ringing phone, or alternatively I got the same message as you did.
