Can anyone tell me when the cash in envelopes jobs are usually sent by please?

Someone recently stated that they had theirs (for Feb?) and I am owed quite a bit of money from the company (well its alot for me!!) and worried about cash turning up in an envelope. Do they send it recorded for extra safety?

Did a 'shop' this week of a fast food outlet. All was going well until I asked for a receipt. The girl was very subtle and turned around and shouted "RECEIPT".

By the time I'd got to a seat, the floor was being cleaned, someone went and checked the toilets. The staff went around asking if everyone's meal was OK.

Then, as I left the restaurant, one quite attractive lady member of staff asked if everything was to my satisfaction and whether there was anything that her or her staff could have done to make my visit more enjoyable. Me and my mucky mind, I was sniggering all the way back home.

I received mine on friday, for 2 jobs I did 1st week of Feb.
No it was not recorded just regular franked mail.

Three weeks is the norm.

I've just been paid for ones I did on the 9th.

They aren't recorded delivery.

:rotfl: I really wish they would let you take a partner with you (I don't expect them to pay for him) then at least wouldn't look so obvious dining alone - I am sure they look out for the single diners that require receipts - bit pointless then really since service is different

My DH went inside once to get something for his lunch while I did a drive thru - he heard the order taker yell 'GAP MAC' as I'd placed my order and asked for a receipt....said he was tempted to ask if it was a new type of burger :rotfl:
