But anyone's guess as to how long after being accepted, you actually get allocated a job. I got accepted in August and am still waiting - over 300 job applications later!
And Mrs.T - thank you for the post on the Alerts thread but you're about 3 days late, those jobs appeared on there days agoWe’ve had to remove your signature. Please check the Forum Rules if you’re unsure why it’s been removed and, if still unsure, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
There are more clothes shops on ESA in my area than there were earlier, so MrsT was right to post.
I've applied for another two.0 -

I applied with ESA [no idea why I hadn't in the past but there you go] earlier this week and have done 8 eggies thus far. I suppose it is how you apply for them? What are you saying in the applications?
And the Women's clothes shops are different from the last lot0 -
as has been discussed before i don't think it makes a difference what you write. i have written essays and not got a job and then simply said i can do the job on.... and got it.
we need someone to write something silly like 'i think you should give me the assisgnment because i am absolutely wonderful!' and see if they get it :rotfl::j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j0 -

Yes, it's a different shop altogether and I have applied for one.
Waiting to hear if I have any jobs for next week- do they always leave you hanging for so long?I aspire to be mortgage free by July 2014 :staradmin0 -

Yes, there are 2 sets of Women's clothing and a few egg's. I haven't applied for any yet though and keep getting emails from ESA listing available jobs.
Will probably start applying for the jobs next week once I'm fully settled in my new place.:)0 -

Yes, with this company you don't get much notice and their timeframes are very tight too.
If you can do jobs as and when it's fine, but if you need to plan other things in advance, other companies are definitely better.
As a rule TNS are weeks in advance, whereas Aba-i give you 2-3 days from accepting the job to completion.

I've been very tempted to write whatever is in my head at the time - maybe the lyrics from a song, or what I'm having for tea, or just something completely random like "do you know the best adhesive for attaching bacon to skirting boards?" to see if anyone comments :rotfl:Here I go again on my own....0 -
