Thanks Steve.
I keep getting a incorrect voucher code for PRFREEDEL - I think its specific to Currys and I need a dixons code. Apparently the Currys voucher worked for a few other people a couple of days ago - maybe they have made a change to their systems in the last few days. Thanks anyway Steve.
Any other free delivery codes for dixons out there ??0 -

Thanks for this code. Used it to buy a cooker from currys delivery should have been £19.99 also it let me use the PERK50 discout code on a £450 spend.
So thanks to this web site I just saved £70.0 -
Thanks for mentioning that you managed to use the perk50 code on less than £500!
I was about to buy a Canon 350D digital camera on the Dixons site using perkz50dix, but I had to add an accessory to my order to take it above £500. My bottom line was £465 following discount.
After reading your post, I visited currys.co.uk and got the camera for £435 using the perk50 code! Also saved £8.72 through Quidco. Well chuffed. :money:0 -
do you have to go via the egg site to get the discount or will they still give you the 5% discount on a tranaction placed using the egg card??
ie you could then go through a cash back site as well"Save the cheerleader - Save the world"0 -
I've had the same problem with the dixons order system as others with my order only showing a 5% discount even although it was place in July. I mailed Egg and they are going to sort it out. I hope this means they will be sorting the issue out for everyone.

I'm sorry to hear you're having problems.
We're aware that there is a problem with Dixons, however don't worry as I've passed your details on to our refund team and they'll make sure you get the 10% cash back you're entitled to.
I trust this has helped you.

I am still waiting for a response from my written complant to them over the whole thing, it would be good to know Gillbee or anyone whos been screwed by egg on this one if you do receive the 10% cashback.gillbee wrote:I've had the same problem with the dixons order system as others with my order only showing a 5% discount even although it was place in July. Well, i didn't get my call back from a couple of weeks ago, so chased yesterday. Spoke to a nice guy who spoke to the person looking after my case. He then told me to snail mail a printed copy of my email to them, personally addressed to him & he'll sort my extra 5% out.
Fingers remained crossed though this shouldn't have happened in the first place.
Anyone with problems, keep trying, perhaps actually call them up to speak to someone.0 -
Hi guys
I'm after buying an LCD telly from Dixons. The one I want is £799. Are there any vouchers available that will get me a discount on this at the moment, and are there any credit card deals that will get me further discount?
Thanks!

Got my letter of complaint concerning only recieveing 5% cashback for a purchase I made on 31st July 2006 answered today from egg, they are refusing to give me the full 10% cashback as my credit card transaction did not go through until 1st August.
Has anyone else managed to get the full 10% they were due? if so how did you get it?0 -
I bought a new washing machine yesterday, using the link from egg to get 5% cashback, and the PRUNNER10 £10 discount from pricerunner. I had been clicking around a bit to try out the discounts from different sources and I have also got 2% in rpoints for the same transaction.
I went for an AEG L16830 washer dryer. This would be £465 from http://www.appliancedeals.co.uk including delivery on a weekday, but they would have charged £15 to scrap my old machine. With this deal from Dixons, it came to £499.10 for the machine, delivery on Saturday and the charge for scrapping my old machine. However, £24.95 instant cash back on my Egg card and I have 999 rpoints pending. Hopefully I'll get the rpoints. I certainly didn't place the order from a window from the rpoints affiilate. Perhaps it just left a cookie for when I used the link from Egg.0
