You're probably right that many people with eating disorders are vegetarian.
From helping out at an eating disorder clinic I'd say it was about evenly matched vege/non-vege.
There were obviously more non-vegetarian patients - but there are more non-veges in the world, so proportionally it was even.ॐ Signature Removed by Someones Mum. ॐ0 -

If it sounds like spam - it probably is!!!0 -
1. Stop Junk mail by writing to the mailing preference folks.
2. Use soap, not those plastic squeezy bottle thingies.
3. Don't use air freshners (dangerous chemicals) open a window.
4. If you've got a garden, wee in a bucket, dilute 1:20 put it on either the garden or undiluted wee on your compost heap. If you can't face that the don't flush after having a wee - it's only wee.
5. Don't buy bottled water.
6. Stop buying so much stuff, buy second hand & give your unwanted stuff to charity.
7. Buy a week's shop & don't waste food - use up everything by sensible planning. Rinse out washing up liquid bottles, shampoo etc - You often get enough out for several more goes.
8. Plan journeys - offer lifts, scrounge lifts, car share - walk.
9. Do you really need the latest mobile - if one at all? Do you need to buy yet another gadget, the latest fashion? Ask yourself questions before buying & if you can do without, don't feel you need it - leave it on the shelf.
10.Use a filled oven, cook more than one thing at a time.
Save money as well as energy. Think before consuming, it is after all a choice.0
