I would disagree that graphics doesn't matter. For the kind of money we are talking, I would expect a dedicated graphics card - 512mb RAM (nvidia or ati)0

for £400 - 450 on a laptop you would have to compromise quite a bit on other parts to get good graphics, note the term good, most intergrated graphics on laptops are more than good enough for media, web, office, and light gaming, you only need a dedicated graphics chip if you want to run more demanding games
and when will people realise the amount of RAM on a graphics card does not matter that much, the main reason you would need a lot of RAM on your graphics card is if you want to run in high resolutions, with a laptop you have a very limited resolution so the amount of RAM really doesnt make much differenceDrop a brand challenge
on a £100 shop you might on average get 70 items save
10p per product = £7 a week ~ £28 a month
20p per product = £14 a week ~ £56 a month
30p per product = £21 a week ~ £84 a month (or in other words one weeks shoping at the new price)0 -

Sorry, but I don't agree. There are bargains to be had and there is no reason why a £450+ laptop should be a compromise at all. It's just a matter of patience and looking out for good deals. Perhaps a 1Gb card won't make a huge amount of difference over 512Mb but if there is little difference in price then it's a no brainer.0
