Quite a few.Tread warily, young Steve...

Quite a few of the blokes are women, too. No names. Subscribers to this thread commonly understand and accept the inherent limitations of a binary gender system. The social construction of gender in most societies in the world is where gender is a dichotomy between male and female. Male and female gender expectations, roles, and functions (such as changing failed lighting units, clearing Scottish bath drainplugs, fixing back doors etc.) are generally very rigid and the presence of alternate gender constructions are usually denigrated, ignored, or made oblivious except where they're a bit fit and called jonnie3000. A person who might enjoy, say, eating roast chicken prior to being presented with a list of tasks to be completed around the place if he wants crumble and custard for pud, or walking 16 miles in the rain in high heels and a short skirt might not also find the ideation of a wheeled device for transporting gardening materials to their liking, were it constructed of a pigment comprised of any non-spectral color between violet and red (excluding violet and red themselves).

Hmmmmm ok thanks for that bit of info.

Hey guess what, I found out something very interesting yesterday:eek:

I am on google streetview digging my garden. I remember the google car coming past and they have blotted my face out and also the face of next doors cat.:rotfl:

Good morning all, ok good afternoon!

Mike you just get more and more funny every day. (Notice I didn't say funnier and funnier <
    one of my pet hates).

Thanks for the advice on what to do with my spare cash 50/50 is most likely what I'll do with it. Everything is paid automatically (with the exception of gas/elec) I have a seperate current account with all the DD's/SO's for mortgage, rates, bils etc. and on payday enough goes into it to cover those + a few quid. There is a surplus in it through not having to pay water rates last 4 months and council tax Feb n Mar. There is a surplus in the account my salary is paid into because I am living within a tight budget (petrol, shopping, stuff, etc.) and I have some car mileage allowance which I only claim every few months as I don't do too many miles. Also there is the £70 cashback from Quidco for the car insurance (when I get it - starting to get a bit disillusioned with it now).

I kind of love March because there is always spare cash through budgeting over 12 months and only paying stuff over 8/10 months and this usually goes into the ISA Savings account (you know the one - where I earn 1p interest per month) but it's not usually so much as £400. I think what is worrying me is the fact that I will need to get a new car in September. I'm hoping to get £60-100 scrap for Satan (my car). Shame really because he drives wonderfully, hasn't broken down in the 3 years I've had him and starts first time every time even on the coldest of mornings but with the last 2 MOT's costing more than the value of the car, I can't risk another one.

Regarding Gritish Bas, when I get the bills I shall check the meters and if I like the cost of the bill, I'll pay it, otherwise I'll send in some meter readings that will give me a cost I like better. Simplez.

Did I hear someone say they had a purple wheelbarrow? Maybe I dreamt that bit.

Well the Bahrain Formula 1 Grand Prix has been a little bit of a let down. New teams, new rules and regs and new racing procedures and strategies but it hasn't been exciting enough to hold my attention. Hopefully it will get better as the teams get used to the new stuff.

Oh well, best get on, speak again soon.

    hi de hi posters!

I'm over the missing mixer tragedy now! i don't have a clue how to use one anyway and i'm hoping any man i find to do a bit of concreting will come fully equipped ;-)

I'm still miffed about the rugby but thats part of an undercover thing as I'm actually english (shhhhhhhh) i'm intergrating quite nicely into the valley community now! although its no longer any good having a bit of a boast cos i live up the road form Shane Williams after yesterday's performance lol!

I'm now totally confused with the gender issues on here! but I am definately of the female variety!

SBelle - don't be jealous of the seed planting i've only planted them and I've never managed to grow much succesfully so we'll have to see plus i'm growing everything in containers and pots - sunno if thats good or bad! but i did see a cool idea somewhere about growing strawberries/tomatoes etc in hanging baskets if u fancy a go and ur short of room!

Wow - what can i say but wow! although....if i wanted to cement my own path - could i do it in little bits at a time without a mixer....and is it hard (the process of concreting that is) and as a fairly pink/purple obsessed female could i a) manage it and b)colour it purple?

Mike - guess what i bought in tesco today..............................jsut a small one tho was 38p!! ( and i saved a HUGE £12.50 with coupons today)

    on with the housework

    laters xx

Hey Mike, haven't replied since the beginning but was wondering how things are with you? I did see that you won your case, congrats!!!

And saw that you had some filming done for a program. What program is it and have you got a date for it airing?

And lastly, how are things going with the force of sale? Have you gotten anywhere with it.

Sorry so many questions, it's just hard to keep up with all the replies. However, it seems like you have made some great friends and some great supporters, that's so wonderful!

    Take care

Hi Britwife, you should pop in more often this thread is the internet's answer to Coronation Street! Always something happening with someone!

The filming was done by the BBC for The One Show and is scheduled to be aired within the first 2 weeks of April (on BBC 1).

Got some things to do before Dancing On Ice comes on.

See you all later and hope you all had a great Mother's Day.

OK, this is a very quick explanation. Monty Python, heard of them? Well they did a very famous sketch where they lumberjacks dressed up and wore womens clothes? Gender confusion, etc, etc.

PW - now what begins with the letters P and W!!!

come on Wow, get with it! :D

You can do it in bits but make sure you use exactly the same mixture of cement, sharp sand and gravel (if you use it) each time or each patch that you do will be a slightly different colour.

Make sure that you get the joins absolutely straight as well or it will end up looking like crazy paving.:A
