Morning all. Sorry I vanished last night SB. I flaked on the couch and woke with my neck at a 45 degree angle, dribbling and the flipping fire had gone out! Oh and my yomp was a very long walk in the forest. I must say that my hips are killing me this morning though.
I see there is a plasterer among our mist...I am now very excited by this prospect. Now where is the washing machine?? Wow, has anyone mentioned that I have 3 spare tins of evaporated milk
So, the cat has kindly woken me at 6.15am on a Sunday morning. Why don't they ever realise it's the weekend?
Poo, I am just like you regarding utilities! I have no idea how much my electric will be this time as it will be my first one here. Previously, I was on a key meter and I loved it! I knew exactly where I was and never spent more than £30 per month. Somehow, I suspect it will be much more here. And that is fantastic news about paying over the overdraft. Well done you! :T I would suggest a nice 50/50 split over savings and debt.
I have just realised I need to order some more wood but am going to clear out the old shed (it was an outside toilet) and put all the wood in there. If I order a whole job lot that should keep me going until summer. Then I will see whether I can find some unseasoned stuff for alot less cash and then season it myself. Failing that I am going to reallocate some from the forest. Im sure the Marquess of Bath has more than enough to keep him going so won't mind donating some to the Redlady Heat Appeal!
Also, it will be seed planting day today for all my veggies. It's the good life down here in Wiltshire!
Happy Mummys Day, one and all.

Welcome man, sit yourself down and I'll fetch you a Redlady_1. Or a SouthernBelle if you're more used to the hard stuff?

Some idiot told me the clocks went forward last night... so I was up at 5.30 thinking it was 6.30 walking the dogs on the beach wondering why it wasn't particularly light and no-one else was around.
Of course I told anyone I met too so there's a bunch of us wandering around looking dazed and cross!
Did you know the word 'Gullible' has never appeared in any dictionary?

Saxy, did you say you had a purple wheelbarrow??!
With 5 kids they will get you back at Easter though.
Ah lightbulbs, now when I was married there was a standing joke at work (and yes, I really never had changed one until single)
How many Reds does it take to change a light bulb.
None, just one to call for a man to do it!0 -
