It's so strange the way we can all get along so well without actually meeting one another - yep I work full time and have a part time 2nd job as OH been out of work for over 18 months, needs must and all that.

Yes I agree about everyone getting along without actually meeting. I have made some good friends over the years online. Some have came and gone as friends do and along the way you meet new friends.

It is very hard on the jobs front. Sometimes you can apply for a job and think you have got an excellent chance of getting it, only to find that there were about 300 other people in for the same job and you never even get shortlisted or hear back from it.

    Hi all, welcome WOW

SB no finds today, I haven't been out of the house today. Don't know if I told you before but I am a bit of a hermit (got a bit of an agoraphobia thing going). I have "safe" places, like work and the little shop up the road and shopping at Morrisons or doing Sunday lunch with mom.

I've been working out some of my finances today and to be honest I'm a little scared.

It would appear that I should have, possibly £400 spare by the end of this month which has/will accumulate from £70 cashback from car insurance, living on a tight budget within my means from March 1st, not having to pay council tax Feb and Mar and not spending the car mileage allowance I got in Feb's pay packet.

Now most people would not be worried by that but I am. I only have £69 in savings at the moment (but it's going up each month). I know I'll have a gas and electric bill in May. I will not pay them robbing bar****ds Gritish Bas by DD regardless of the discount. I know I should pay off some of my debt but I'm scared to use it all. But how much to pay off and how much to keep saved? Oooh decisions, decisions. Oh and I've recently paid off my overdraft of £1200 and feel the need to keep some "spare" cash in my current accounts just in case something crops up, I really don't want to go back into my overdraft again but equally I don't want to cancel them either (I don't go into the o/d of the other current account).

It's scary having money when you're in debt! I'll be worrying about this now till end of March when I know how much it will be.

Oh well, best get off and find some bad news somewhere that I can try to help with, I go to pieces when there is a bright horizon!

    See you all soon

Hi One and all - welcome to Wow on this thread. Benn out today visiting friends who we haven't seen in ages, so it was a very relaxing day after the awful week I have had. Red - the car and I have had a long talk - have explained that I will not put up with the behaviour of the past week and if it does not improve she will not be happy with the consequences. Mechanic has now replaced discs and OH taking back on Monday. The 'big garage on the High Street' better pass it this time!! And also as I stayed until 9.00 on Thursday night I managed to get work finished even though report was late from boss didn't have to stay late again!! At work tomorrow, so much for Mother's Day - that's a thought Mike would have thought your ex would have wanted the children this weekend being Mother's Day. And then have extra hours at second job every evening next week. Have a grand day tomorrow all of you and catch up as soon as I can. Billie x

Hells' teeth Billie, I made you smile once and you never suggested that to me.

    So unfair.
