Thanks Mike, I've never attempted to scan, thanks for doing that.
That pile of ironing .....hide it in one of the those large empty thingys in your garage thingy. Out of site out of mind. Works every time. (Until you need something). As Maty says - a little at a time.
I was wondering if all those nosey neighbours of yours have been round. I bet they are busting their corsets to get a look. Did I tell you one nasty piece of work wondered what the cottage would now be worth....ouch - green as grass I guess. There were nice ones though. Those few days was a royal study of human nature in all its forms. Loved it.:rotfl:
Enjoy your birthday party - what a lovely chance for free food. Take a doggy bag, you never know!;)
One last thing. Jesthar grew you some little plants and they are out the back to the left of your 'lean too' in that little alley way. They need water and planting out. God I sound like your mother!!! sorry:rotfl:

I'm running through here (bloody babies wont go to sleep!!!) but just wanted to say that your post moved me so much Mike. I can think of noone else who would have deserved such a huge heap of good fortune.
You've had such a massive lot of bad luck in the last couple of years but I do hope that this is the turning point in your life and everything will slot back into place now. I wish you and your boys all the best for the future - truly.Trying to become debt free but this site makes me spend a fortune!!!

I can't find the box with the scanner in, or my office wpb... very strange. A phone call to the removers on Monday methinks.
There is an almost constant stream of people slowing down to look at the house, walking their dogs past and reading the thing on the front wall, and knocking on the door all day. Only one rezzy has had a pop, about the cost and licence fee. Well they could have had a programme with Graham Norton for the same money... that's money well spent! Everyone else has been really fab. It's been an eyesore for many years and they are pleased to see it back in shape.
Jes's plants say Hi, they've been watered and sunned and are doing very well.0 -

Thaks Donna. That means a lot.
I have been so spoiled and treated so nicely by everyone for the past few weeks, and it's a shock to the system! I always have a problem with people being nice to me! It's a HUGE event in the boys' and my life, and it means our lives will be affected by the past events, not ruined by them.
Plus the boys' friends think they're well cool innit for being off the telly an all!0 -

I know only one person who's been on the telly apart from for work. I'll know four soon!
I was sorting out boxes of tile cutters and tools and cross saws and drills and stuff, and I thought - can't see I'll be needing these for a while! That really hit home...
Maybe I'll find someone who needs a hand with their place following a visit from a thief masquerading as a builder though.0
