Sorry about that everyone - someone came to the door when I was half way through Mike's post, and it's taken me till now to catch up on the three pages you've written in the meantime!

At least I had the bubbly to be going on with, thanks!

Mike - epic post, thank you! :T:T:T

Anyone who's still around, have a virtual After Eight or several, the hot chocolate is warming as I write and there are (of course) marshmallows. Anyone who wishes to stay up all night (and I am off to see mum tomorrow so can't stay up), the remote for the telly is around somewhere and there are some soppy filums if you want to indulge. Also some blankets if you are worn out. Don't be alarmed if you hear the door - it's the teenagers getting in late/early.

Night all, hopefully see you Sunday!

Not sure... I'll keep a light in the window and preserve his room as it was when he just 'popped out for some fags'. Maybe one night I'll hear a tiny scratching at the door and open it to find him, emaciated, soaked to the skin, barely alive... I'll wrap him in a tiny fluffy towel and use a tiny silver spoon to feed him broth.

Hi, Lurker here. I have been checking the thread everyday but have rarely posted as it has just moved way too fast for me. I wanted to say thanks to everybody for keeping the thread going whilst Mike is away. I am sure that he is enjoying his "new" home immensely. I just looked at the pictures and the three boys look so happy I am so pleased that things have taken a turn for the better for them all. I can just see them having really good lads nights in now.

Thank you to all of the lovely people on this thread who have restored my faith in humanity.

Don't mention the Railway Children, already in tears after reading Mike's post and the RC will set me off again.
