Yes it was and loads of people stopped to help, so I went into work, was on my way to 2nd job. Told my supervisor and as she is a first aider she went out there and came back in to say ambulance had arrived and that all was in hand.
So SB are you out of OH's bad books, does he think you are being naughty naughty or what? Come on spill.............

QuietSpark - So sorry you have found yourself with a problem like this. There are many wise people on MSE who may be able to help you. I think they normally recommend you start a new thread with a statement of affairs so that people can look to save you money. Or call one of the debt advice charities - there is a sticky on the first page to help.

Billie - I hate seeing accidents but those involving children are really horrid. Why don't they make children wear reins like I used too, or hold on to them tight.

Not sure where to start - Billie, that's awful, I hope she's okay. Hope you are too. I was right by a RTA once and know what you mean about the sound of it - nothing like on TV. This thread is moving on faster than I can type (that's saying something!) so will just add- look after yourself.
SB - thanks for that lovely email, you are such an encourager I hope things are soon okay with you, too. Thinking of you and will be replying soon
In general in the world of Mig - tension coming & going but the latest is mum is back in hospital (yes, you heard right - her third admission in under a month, they must like her!) so in a way I can breathe again - she may be sick but at least she's being cared for. Perhaps it's as well she's several hours away as I can't be there to try to pick up the pieces all the time and she needs proper care.
tomorrow to the day after I'm at work, so don't be alarnmed if you don't hear from me. If (When!) the thread passes 5000, don't worry, I will find you!

Spoke to Mike a little while ago. He's still waiting for connection and for his things to be returned. He's hoping it will be tomorrow and will post if he's organised and rigged up. Be thursday at the latest.

He told me he went to burger king (I think it was BK?) tried to find wi-fi so he could see what was going on! :rotfl:

Told him we were all waiting to hear one of his amazing speeches, no doubt we'll need tena! No doubt he'll get the squits again! :rotfl:

Told him that pictures were being screened and put on FB pages, he's still worrying the BBC will be spying and asked that you don't give access to newbies on the site in case they're a bbc spy! :rotfl:

ALSO told him he has zillions to catch up on & better be quick as thread is getting ever closer to 5000 mark.

Anything else he will have to tell you himself but he's very happy!

Sometimes it is best to be miles away* - when we were managed to get help for Mum after a stroke it all stopped when my sister arrived from Scotland to check for herself she was really OK. Once she went we never managed to get the help re-started. Crazy or what!

* Although I do understand how difficult it is to be miles away and what a worry it can be.
