I am so pleased you have managed to overcome your shyness and get yourself on TV. I bet you are glad you wrote the original message [because I bet 100% you weren't sure whether to].
Still don't know if you are a female or not though.0 -
Hi Mike
I have been following your thread since your first post. Your posts have got stronger and more determined as the days go on. You can, and will see this matter through to whatever the eventual conclusion. It is clear the support on here (albeit of the virtual rather than physical kind) has lifted you and given you the strength to fight on.
I have subscribed to your thread and will watch with interest as your fascinating life story continues to unfold before our eyes. As someone else said, this is far better than Eastenders;) It's easy for 'us' sitting here reading this, but I can only imagine the strength it must take each day just to get up and face each new day - knowing the living conditions you currently have and the battles you have on your hands, both health and building battles. For that, you have my utmost admiration.
Just wanted to send hugs and best wishes and let you know that you have yet another 'virtual' support out here in MSE land:beer:NR [STRIKE]£5542[/STRIKE]£2771 BC [STRIKE]£7987[/STRIKE]£7700 BC [STRIKE]£3000[/STRIKE]£5100 Cat1 Pd Cat2 Pd Ulstr [STRIKE]£3400[/STRIKE]£3070 TSB [STRIKE]£4851[/STRIKE]£4400 MBNA [STRIKE]£7700[/STRIKE]£3887 NWst [STRIKE]£950[/STRIKE] £700 Hfx [STRIKE]£10097[/STRIKE]£10050 Asda [STRIKE]£398[/STRIKE] £315 HFX1 Pd Hfx2 [STRIKE]£3133[/STRIKE] £3000

I didn't say anything about overcoming my shyness... at the moment I'm somewhere between wetting myself and a near death experience...!drivebyargument wrote: »Still don't know if you are a female or not though.
Not entirely sure myself right now.0 -

I don't think my life is fascinating except perhaps to fans of slow motion car crashes!
Nice of you to say so though!0 -
hey, really sorry to say this but IM SOOOOO HAPPY! i haven't read all the other post but reading about your really crappy situation has made mine ( which is surprisingly similar to yours) not seem so bad or so lonely anymore.
I can't help with the other stuff other than to offer a willing hand of labour but with the DWP about your medical exam, if the guy was polish then your entitled to an English one as you can tell the DWP you didn't understand what he was saying to you, also unless the doc was a psychiatrist then he ain't qualified and you should be entitled to another examination with a qualified doc, also obtain a letter from your doc about your current disability and you mentioned seeing MIND ( they're lovely ppl :-) ) ask your assigned worker for a report on your health too and compile it all and send it as part of your appeal.
My situation was caused by a crappy thieving bank instead of a crappy thieving builder, but it came close to that with a plumber, thankfully when he asked for all the money in cash 2 wks into the job and not having done anything other than destroy my crumbling pile i told him to get stuffed.
If you fancy swapping stories or what not just PM me, would be happy for someone to commiserate with :-)
good luck xx0 -

Some answers would be good. I think it's a bit optimistic to hope for money!
Why does everything take so long?
