    Me too.

I sent him a text yesterday asking him for his VAT number, receipts for what I paid him, and a breakdown of VAT charges. Well, he turns over more than a hundred grand a year so he must be registered.

He wouldn't tell me either way.

So I told him not to worry and that I would ring the Revenue and Customs people today. They were very helpful. And very interested.

So as another week ends, I'm still waiting for a response from the court about what I can apply for at one time, I need some information from my legal helpline people, and one or two other bits. Then next week I should be able to apply for the force of sale. I'm going to tell the court the builder's wife is involved up to her oxsters, just in case there's any shenanigans from her.

I hope this isn't getting boring...!

Oooh, yes, and the BBC say they'll be here Wednesday morning to film a segment for a consumer programme about CCJs. And in the afternoon I have the benefit tribunal. Should be a busy week. I hope it's a good one.

OOOH things are happening, fill us in :D
Did he just ignore your text? or did he text back?
    What is the programme?

I`m getting my wine ready ;)

Yes SB I think I've lost the plot too somewhere along the line!

Please clarify Mike, we're all ears - well eyes!

Oh and regarding the TV programme, we can all have a virtual party on here! We can drink as much as we like in our own homes and not have to worry about driving home! Think of it as a trial run for the victory party!

I thought it was just me, came on to see how Mike is today, and I see there has been progress, I've had a quick look back at the last few post but can't find anything - what have I missed?

Virtual party sounds excellent to me, I don't need much of an excuse for a glass or three of red wine!

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

So come on....details??.....When? and What was the call between you & the builder regarding payment records showing tax or vat & what developments with his wife? I'm sure I read somewhere that she's up to her neck in this too!!!!....I've missed something somewhere.

Always the last to know the latest gossip!:rotfl:

So the court things tuesday re the builder, is that right?

Wednesday is the tribunal re reinstating benefit, Yes?

I bet you're wishing you were back in that dentist chair now eh! :p

Have I caught up properly now?

You're confusing me now! I think it's all here somewhere... she hasn't replied to the letter, he didn't reply to the text so I left him a message saying I was going to ring HMRC. OK I didn't say it was the tax evasion helpline but unless he's thick he'll work that out. Tomorrow, having my dangly bits scanned to establish reason for sharp pain when sitting down or wearing certain trousers. The appointment letter was headed USS Testes, which sounds like an American warship but I think it means ultrasound.

Nothing happening Tuesday (is there? My reflexology session but that's not really relevant), and the Mental Health Trust mixed open meeting in the afternoon which is a lot more fun than it sounds. BBC here Wednesday AM maybe, (so's the nice builder lady who contacted me - must get large Hobnobs packet and an extra mug; also a pen for signing autographs later) and DWP Tribunal in the afternoon. The rest of the day is my own. Thursday: at sea.

This is starting to feel like the Truman Show.

Oooh Mike! I hope the scabby builder doesn't owe too much in taxes otherwise it won't be you forcing the sale! Or maybe that's your plan? Hmmm.... bit dicey as you will always come second to the taxman so I hope there is as much equity in his property as you believe!

    Good luck anyway.

He has about £167,000 equity and can always get a loan if he's pushed for cash. Or give a householder a quote and leg it with the deposit. Apparently they can't touch you for it....
