    Morning all.

DG - you are in my thoughts. xx Come back and see us when you need us. We can make you giggle again.

All that stuff about Taureans is toss. Well, some of it is in my case. Patient and placid???! Well, I can assure you Im about as fiery as it goes and have the patience of a gnat!!!! Law-abiding, don't tell the Marquess of Bath that!:D

I have recently been viewing chainsaws. How flipping expensive are they?! More research is required. I would much prefer buying a pair of shoes. SuB - I'm only about 6 ft 2 in my highest.

Mike, are you getting an airing tonight??!!?!?!??!

Oi, SB I THINK IT'S TONIGHT!

I am seriously disturbed by some of those gadget pictures. It's like stepping into the twilight zone!

    Hey Red 1... :rotfl:That is Sooooo funny...NOT!:p

Hi all and especially DG - I lost my mum 22 years ago and dad 13 years ago and still talk of them/to them/with them. Miss them both but especially my dad as I was a daddy's girl. I hope you have been able to say goodbye how you wanted to and that today was another episode that had to be gotten through and tomorrow you will smile and say "yeah he would have loved that"..
Sorry Mike not forgetting this is your thread, but get me on to the soap box about parents and loss and I could go on forever, my dad was one of the best...................:(:(

The thread's for anyone to say anything that's on their minds. That's what's great about it.

redlady... I'd never have guessed :D :rotfl:

Big hugs to every-one that needs them today! The loss always stays with you, but laughing about the good times becomes easier. My poor Grandad now gets the blame for every clumsy thing any-one in our family does - especially the spilling of alcoholic drinks :rotfl:.

Okay you two - you just had me checking the mug before I stasrt drinking!

DG - I'm so sorry about your Dad, I've been a similar place myself. All I can say is: a few years on and whenever I see the night sky, I remember my Dad teaching me the constellations one winter's evening when I was a child. The later years as he forgot things and gradually slid away from us are no longer what first comes to mind. xx

Miggy - that is so true! Well said!

Mike - I am sticking my tongue out at you again :D. I don't mind the pesky little beggars, but I prefer them on the wall, out the way, where I can see them! Not in the bottom of a mug! That was never part of the tenancy agreement!

Is it incredibly sad that I'm excited by the imminnet start of "The Restoration Man"? on Sunday? My viwieng habits are the reason you are soon to be a TV star Mike :D.
