Er, though I could kind do with my shoe back... I'm looking rather unbalanced... and we all know how stable and balanced us Taureans are...

    Nope. Mine now. :)

    Hi you mad bunch.

Been reading for a week or so now, enjoying your banter in adversity. Fortunately not a DFW, usually on the OS thread, but await with interest the One Show Report. Tonight I needed something to make me smile, the reference to the Jimmy Choos, with a size 8 very wide fitting foot - boy would I love to be able to get my feet in those.

My dear Dad was a Taurean, and showed many of those characteristics, tomorrow is his funeral, a blessing in many ways as he had serious dementia, almost blind, almost deaf and bedridden for the last couple of years, he would have been 90 in May. Unfortunately for me he has not been there to talk to for 7 years now, and I still miss talking to him, and getting his wise advice, even though I am nearer 60 than anything else.

Sorry to taking you off topic, but hope that you get all your dodgy builders, etc., sorted and thanks for the banter which made me smile.
    DG

Hi donny-gal..sorry about your dad. I've only just caught your post.

    .

I know how you feel. I miss my Mum every day and I always will. I talk about her all the time...makes me feel closer somehow. You'll be repeating his wise words to others as if he is talking through you or stood right by your side. ....do try to come back.

I'll be thinking of you tomorrow. xx

It's because it's running two of the newest BeoWillies and ickle fluffy wabbits' hearing doesn't extend that far.

That's a little bit uncalled for? Not my fault you don't know which key combination to use...

    Morning all.

DG - you are in my thoughts. xx Come back and see us when you need us. We can make you giggle again.

All that stuff about Taureans is toss. Well, some of it is in my case. Patient and placid???! Well, I can assure you Im about as fiery as it goes and have the patience of a gnat!!!! Law-abiding, don't tell the Marquess of Bath that!:D

I have recently been viewing chainsaws. How flipping expensive are they?! More research is required. I would much prefer buying a pair of shoes. SuB - I'm only about 6 ft 2 in my highest.

Mike, are you getting an airing tonight??!!?!?!??!

Oi, SB I THINK IT'S TONIGHT!

I am seriously disturbed by some of those gadget pictures. It's like stepping into the twilight zone!
