Many people use their motability scheme to purchase a scooter or wheelchair but from my experience you end up paying vastly more
as interest is charged apr from 16.8% to a wopping 31.7% also you have to pay the R.R.P which is generally alot more than than the dealers actually charge.
    .
So get a cheap loan and save lots.

I found the biggest advantage to having a motability car is if you are unfortunate enough to have an accident the loan car ( whilst yours is repaired) is very much like for like.
We had a Hyundai Trajet 7 seater ( 4 kids and my wheelchair) I had a prang and was given a Kia Sedona whilst my car was repaired.
Before I had a motability car I owned an Espace, my wife was hit in the front when that went in for repair we were given a Nissan Micra ok for the wife to get the shopping and kids from school BUT no good for me, my wheelchair or us as a family. Most insurance companies only give small two door cars whilst yours is in for repair. How do you put a price on that?

When our Renault Scenic went in for repair we got a Micra so being a Motability customer doesn't necessarily guarantee you like for like.
