    I agree it's very silly, but I'm generally anything for an easy life, so I'd take my ID with me just so as not to give them the satisfaction of turning me down. Mind you, I'd be elated to be mistaken for an under 25 year old to be honest. :D

    :rotfl: I am sat here drinking a very nice bottle of Spanish red, that I wasn't asked for ID to buy, :D obviously in future I shall be bulk buying Chicken Tonight and then selling it on to my local youth.

    Some people may like their Chicken Tonight uncooked so they can enjoy the full flavour of the wine (and the salmonella granted). :D

    The point is if you get checked for ID (even if infrequently) surely it's easier to know of the possibility rather than having to throw your toys out of your pram everytime you get asked for ID!

    Do they - all of them? I've never seen anyone checked for cooking sauces before.

    Surely it would be better for the staff in supermarkets to operate some form of common sense...

    I wonder if they ID people for alcohol sanitizing gel, which is actually misused by some people.

    What 'they' don't realise is all this does is make alcohol EVEN MORE attractive to the kids of the future.

    Personally, I've never had chicken tonight, and never will - but I will defend the rights of anyone who wants to purchase it without having to identify themselves!!!
