N97 mini is pretty good, I have one and I haven't really encountered any problems, but that might be as I have small hands so keys and stuff don't look small to me.

Also, see if they can match anything like the Super SIM deal they're offering in-store - 900 minutes, 2000 (I think) texts and unlimited net for £20 a month.

    ** Fat Bum Shrinking: -7/56lbs **
    **SPC 2012 #1498 -£152 and 1499 ***
I do it all because I'm scared.
  • Vodafone just phoned: offered me same contract with free N97 mini. Asked about HTC Legend and there is no date on it. He is going to phone again at 5pm. Honest opinions peeps, do I accept it?
  • I think you need to get your hands on an N97 Mini to see if it fits your hands nicely and is comfortable to use. Going from a standard mobile phone keypad to QWERTY takes some getting used to and fundamentally, the handset needs to be the right one for you for an 18 month period.

    I've tried a n97 mini for a day...
Generally good, typical slow operating system.
Went on the net, played the sims 3 demo that comes with it... battery died after using it for half a day.

The keypad is good... erm, camera is good.
FROZE 3 times, needed to take battery out and put it back in. Its vodafone branded firmware inside too.

Whatever you want to know. i can test it for you tonight.... (it might be too late for you if you need to know an answer by 5pm, cos i wont be able to get my hands on one till later cos it belongs to my bro who is in work)
  • Just want to say a big thanks to everyone who contributed. In the end I went with the N97 mini (they didn't have the Hero and were unsure about Legend) Got the same contract too.
    Cheers:beer:
