Where can I sell my textbooks?

I don't like amazon as the commission is huge and often leaves you left with nothing if the postage costs are high (as you can't stipulate how much it will cost to post the book - you have to use the amazon flat rate).0

No but you can stipulate the selling price and list the book at a price that will cover the postage costs and guarantee you a profit.
Unlike eBay, if nobody wants to buy the book at that price you don't pay a penny.0 -
I graduated from uni over 20 years ago and have sold some old textbooks recently on Amazon for twice what I paid for them. People either need to buy a textbook or they don't and if they do they are usually willing to pay good prices so long as its less than for a new one. With textbooks, yours can easily be the only copy for sale on Amazon - hence good prices. Don't bother selling books like paperback copies of Da Vinci Code where the going rate is just a few pence and there are loads of sellers, there is the risk of losing on postage and its just not worth the hassle.0
