Amazon is quite good but now the exam seaason is over I on't think you should sell them until the next yr. OKay that sounds really stupid but your textbooks might not sell at all or for a low price because no one needs them now. When the exam sason comes again, then sell them because more ppl will be look for cheap books just for the exam season.
If you need the money though, just sell them. I find Amazon okay.0 -
Hi - If they're books from your reading list at college/Uni, why not wait until the beginning of the new term, then put a notice up with the books for sale to the new students. It'll save on packaging costs and they'll be more likely to pay a good price for them as they'll definitely be saving on buying them new.0

for uni books (maybe a level too) a lot of bookshops will buy them from you - blackwells (uni branches) have posters up at the moment saying that they buy second hand books.:happyhear0

I sell my old coursebooks on Green Metropolis - https://www.greenmetropolis.com, all books sell for £3.00 each and they plant new trees for every book sold. When your books are sold, you can either have the cash sent to your account or buy more books (obviously relevant ones!) from the site. I have been a member for about 3 months now and have sold 4 books, although this is starting to pick up as the uni reading lists have just been sent out!
Hope this helps! Sarah x0 -

I'll second that. I sold some social work books on ebay and found that a few went for more that you would buy in the shops or online with postage. My theory was that more people know about ebay than amazon etc.0 -

I have! Search under 'Community Care' on Amazon to find the volume I am selling which was written by my tutor when I was at the LSE
Why not list your books on Amazon now? As it doesn't cost anything, you may as well list them ASAP - books aren't like houses, they don't go down in value because they've been sitting around on the market for a while....:rotfl::rotfl:Ex board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).0 -
I agree as its free to list them why not stick them on Amazon anyway? Have sold quite a few of course books - some went for what I paid originally years ago and some went for more than I paid. You just have to watch out for books that might have a newer edition than yours.
Good luck
