I'm doing WW as well as giving up smoking so am in the same boat as you except I've over 9st to lose!!!
It is really helping doing WW at the same time so good luck.
  • Girls whatever weight you are your never satisfied. I could probably do with losing half a stone if I'm honest but when I look in the mirror I see a whale looking back at me. Whether I'm 8st or 12st I see the same! I've never smoked so can't even use giving up as an excuse to overeat.

How much have you lost so far Taxi?

I was thinking that it would be good to try and get this eating thing under control as well as giving up being a 'fag ash lil' at the same time, especially since I gained so much so quickly!

I have spent the evening reading other DFW diaries, very inspirational stuff.

I have to make some plans and if I put 'cyber pen to paper' then I am more likely to stick with them or at least attempt to stick with them.

In the most simpliest of terms:
    1. Money - need more to pay debts quicker
    2. LBS - need less to ensure longer life and better fitting clothes
    3. Our home - finish many jobs and get it into better order to improve quality of life.

Now how do we go about achieving these three major goals

    1. Money - well am already working on that as you know. Will continue to think MSEly, check my snowball every day and watch every bloody penny!

    2. LBS - do I pay to go back to WW - never here do they offer the free membership, so its money up front from day one. However on the plus side, I will lose (I couldn't bear going to weigh-in and not lose, my purse and ego would be devastated)

    3. The house. I am generally organised but I live with the worlds' most disorganised man who has spent many years collecting rubbish/computer stuff - of which I have no concept of the value of. It is throughout the house in any spare hidden spot and also in some not so hidden. Now, here's the plan - I think I should take one area at a time, go through it and move each item to either a) the bin b) ebay or c) a place for it to live (because we NEED it). In the spirit of flylady, I am thinking that I need to start and finish each space before moving on to the next otherwise it all ends up like it is now - everywhere and disorganised. ( I secretly want to be like Bree in Desperate Housewives and have a labelled box for every item.) We also have many unfinished jobs. eg. the bathroom tiling has not moved on since last week. The utility room was tiled last year but still needs a blind, the ceiling and woodwork painted and a couple of finishing touches to make it look like a room for laundry and cleaning stuff.

So I think if I list each project on here - my diary of confession - then I should have a better chance of making it happen.

    Therefore

1, Money - as per current snowball - debt free (except for O/D by Dec 2012)
    2. LBS - 6lbs by 29.04.10 - weigh in day will be Thursday and for April I will do it at home.
    3. Bathroom and Utility Room to be finished by 31.04.10. I am choosing two rooms because DH is the tiler and I need him to finish that bit but I can continue with the painting and bits in utility room until he is finished. Our house is 270 years old and each job always brings 'something unexpected'!

From now on the goals will be known by number only - saves on the tying!

So thats the Plan, Stan. Wish me luck and off we go!

Yeah I saw that but I would rather spend the money on the real class rather than online and right now I am going to trying and go it alone!

Well done on another £1 - you are nearly there!

Good Luck with all your goals. When I had dd4, I was really sick and lost 2 stone in the first 6 weeks of pregnancy - I have never been so thin.;) it's not a weight loss method that I'd recommend:rotfl:

Sadly I have now put all that weight back on, so am determined to lose a stone. My kids are trying to help with this - not sure if being called fat every time I go into the kitchen or pick up clothes is good for my self esteem, but they are enjoying it!!:)
Proud to be dealing with my debts,
