Hi RMC. Brilliant progress - if I could find £1000 next month I could clear my RBS card. But there's no way, so I take my hat off to you instead! And have a fantastic BD - I have a DS BD and my wedding anniversary this weekend too!

Dear Mrs Robinson, wouldn't it be so wonderful to be able to throw £1000 at just one card - instead I must spread that payment across 9!!
I laugh when I see your name, one of my bf is Mrs Robinson and of course, I just think of her when I see your name. OMG maybe you are her LOL

Just think of all those extra pennies you will have to throw at Richard once you quit smoking!LBM Aug 09: £18,650.47 - Current: £12,854.93 (£5946.79)

Work out how much you spend on smoking and then when you quit make sure you pay that off a debt each month.....that will be very satisfying.
DH and I worked out we spent £300 between us a month
I hadn't had my lightbulb moment when we gave up so what we save we ended up spending on buying our two springer spaniels and their upkeep!!!!:DNatwest Card 27.06.10 (reduce every month) £267.63

Its today hun and thank you very much!!
I may have smoked my last fag today - had a stop date of tomorrow but only had one left this am and really didn't want to buy another packet!! So fingers crossed, Champix is definately helping the cravings, its just the habit.
Speaking of which, I have just eaten about 20 mini eggs while sitting here checking bank/reading pages etc. Now that is a habit I must break, no point in not getting cancer only to die of fattness!!!
I have to motivate myself into more change:-
a) need to get to grips with DH business account because I dont know where money is going!! He needs to buy apples on Monday and cried to me on Thurs that he had no money, now what used to happen was that his 'mummy' would save the day and juggle all the cards around and then he would promise to pay it back. Obviously he promised many times and didn't thus the reason for my diary!!!!! So I am leaving him to it.....I almost thought I could offer him my ebay money as a help and then I kicked my own !!! and moved on from that ridiculous thought. I am not being stubborn, I wouldn't let the business sink (its nowhere near that) but at the same time I am aiding his terrible money management and thats not good for either of us.
b) Get the house sorted. Too much crap and it could be ebayed but God I dread the thoughts of photographing
c) A little fyladying would help, otherwise I have it ALL to do on weekend and I hate that I have no time to myself, plus summer is coming and I want to be outside playing in my disasterous garden.
d) I dont like being 42 - that is OLD!LBM Feb 2010 £62,700 Total Debt Jan 11 [STRIKE]£49,403.84[/STRIKE] £47,530.32.

Happy birthday Red, hope your having a lovely day.
Well done on deciding to keep the e-bay money to yourself, DH will find a way of getting his apples I'm sure of it. Your doing the right thing, he needs to realise that his money management needs amending
I could quite easily eat mini eggs whilst reading away on the computer. I've stopped buying chocolate and sweeties and if it's not here I can't have it. Saying that the easter eggs are calling me but I'm trying not to listen.12/04/2019

I would eat all the chocolate in the house some nights, and I have been known to behave like an alcoholic looking for drink; pulling everything out of cupboard to find the chocy!!
