I had the most hectic day at work, didnt even get to the post office to send off my parcels.

Need to focus on a good day to give up - thinking the weekend is good to break the routine, however I smoke less at work than I do at home, so maybe during the week would be better!

A few bids on the weekend listings - nothing majo, oh and one sale on Amazon so you were right, thanks for that.

DH spent £159 on business today - bless him! But at least its not out of my money, and thats only cuz thems all burnt!!

  • Amazon and e-bay really slow at the moment. I keep promising myself to take a few books off Amazon and sell them on e-bay. Do books sell well on e-bay? Never tried them before. Plant tonight - list 10 books.

Good to hear about the plan to give up smoking. I've never smoked but my partner does and I hate it. He keeps planning on giving up but nothing yet :(

I have sold text books on ebay in the past - but probably could have got more for them on Amazon TBH. Have a look at ebay and see what they are going for.

Smoking - ugh I hate it, but enjoy each cig IYKWIM - but what I hate most is paying for them so I am focusing the mind as this time I want to stop for gooders!

Hi Red, DH and I gave up using patches....go to your NHS stop smoking clinic to get them on prescription making them cheaper :D. DH thinks patches are all psychological (sp?) but it worked for me, and we only used them for 1 month in the end as we kept forgetting to put them on and managed fine :T. HTH!

Made my first extra payment of £40 to Richard this morning - life on the decrease - love it.

Still haven't posted my ebay parcels from the weekend sales - would you believe I pulled into three diff PO and each time my phone rang and I had to go deal with work - then on the way home I couldn't find one that was opened after 5.30 and then...............I got to the 5th one at 6.02 and it was CLOSED.

Tomorrow I will post them after my 10.00am meeting, I promised

Confession - I bought a bacon, brie and advocado sandwich today costing £3.20 (eek) and it was DELICIOUS!!

I can relate to the Post Office nightmare. Ebay is lovely when you get the money in but it is such a faff getting them out to the outside world!

You are edging further away from Richard - you might even miss him.
