I only got up at 9.45 since today is the last day of my holliers
But so far so good - checked bank, no surprises and did my scratchies - 10p!
In the last three weeks I have lost 8lbs and put 3lbs - thats the sum total, each day was lose a pound, next day gain a pound etc etc. I have not really dieted in 4 years and I can tell you that those 4 years have made a difference, before I would have lost continuely thru sensible eating with the odd treat - now it just doesn't work.
However am going to suggest to friend in work (who is desperate to lose lbs) to go to weightwatchers and force her to force me to go swimming and her to spin class - thats the plan and its always easier with someone else.
It is pouring with rain here today - yuck. We have had a crap summer so far but its bound to get better when I go back to work!

well done on the loss though!! thats good. i seem to really be struggling to loose it this time. although i am first to confess that brie and cuc sarnies dont help!! just would've thought with the exercise it would be a little easier!! would love an exercise buddy so yes drag her along!!! (although may i suggest going a little easy on the "i think you need to loose weight, come to weight watchers with me" conversation
)
my day is going as well as a day at work can do!!! getting lots done though so can go into the weekend refreshed and just a 4 day week next week
those 3 weeks have gone quick!!! have you managed to get done what you wanted to? xdebt @05/11/11 £12210.63!! slowly chipping away!!:heart2:impossible is nothing.:heart2:0 -
LOL at the conversation - we have talked about it many times. She, sadly, lost her mum 5 weeks ago and is desperate to fill her time and her mum really wanted her to lose weight for health reasons (she is not obese, but in her own words 'is headed that way') so I have already said to her - ok lets stop talking about and lets do it. She is also a lot fitter than me and i have told her that I need her help to get motivated as I hate exercise big style but am lucky that I can swim okish and can only do front crawl which is more energetic!
Did I get done all I wanted to do..........kinda.............I painted one room, wanted to do two. I have cleared the bedroom cupboards (which was a huge job) but didn't get under the stairs done. The garden - puh - too much rain! The accounts - 80% there and should get them finished over the weekend, hopefully. But I do rested and I am ready to go back..............which wasn't the case last week so I would say that in itself has made the holiday successful.
