Went to the dump, two binbags and three boxes GONE! I cannot tell you how happy it makes me going to the dump, I find it psychologically the most uplifting of experiences (sadsville, I know)
Packaged up all I have bids on, that means I just need to write address on when sold. With 105 items selling, I need to keep on top of it.
Still not enough money and I know I wont cover all cc payments, but should do by end of month. The two o/s shops will not be paying til cheque run this month, normally anywhere between 20th and 31stLBM Feb 2010 £62,700 Total Debt Jan 11 [STRIKE]£49,403.84[/STRIKE] £47,530.32.

Tell me about it!
But honestly, although it sometimes feels as though you are wading through treacle, with bank charges and the like thrown at you, you ARE making progress, and it will suddenly seem like you are actually making a good amount of progress.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Any idea when 'suddenly' might arrive LOL

Sooner hopefully rather than later.
Right now it just feels like one of those "I am never going to get a break" times, instead of one of those times when everyone pays on time and I actually have money to play with times!

Just finished reading through your amazing journey. Spent all evening doing it and had to skip the odd 50 pages . What l wanted to say is what an inpiration you are too me:T.
My husband and l have a debt of £48k and will take a long time to pay off - They are 2 CC, loan and overdrafts. I have buried my head in the sand for a long time and have only had the LBM last week.:D
How you can keep your sense of humour with the problems you have had is absolutely amazing. Your support on here too are just fantastic. Not sure what all the abbreviations are all about but l just want to wish you well and follow you in your journey.
I also would like to make extra money on ebay so going to give it a go. I assume you photo the item, pack it up and get it weighed before going online?
Our incomes are fixed so the only way we can limit the damage is by being lean on the grocery budget. Will still keeep on trying but just wanted to say thanks to you for showing me that debt is not the end of the world. xxx Moobear:T:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j0 -
Awh bless Moobear, thank you for reading (and I dont blame you for skipping the odd 50 pages, wish I could have)
You have had your LBM and you are on your way, honestly. As you have read, some days I am 'going fight this tooth and nail' and others I am 'poor me'.
Come back to me on any abbreviation if you are not sure!
Ebay - I photo the thing I am selling and then I only package it when it has a bid, addressing it when sold. If you look on completed listings for items you are thinking of selling you will get an idea of the postage costs, and on some items, such as CD's and DVD's ebay wont let you charge more than £1 postage. It becomes easier the more you sell because you get a good grasp of the cost of postage. However, I still get caught out sometimes so best to err on the side of caution.
Think about writing your own diary because doing this has kept me sane! Mr RMC listens for 30 seconds to debt worries and then goes back into his 'I cant hear you cave'.
Have a look around the site, there are many many tips on saving/making money. Trust me a year ago I would not have been able to tell you the price of a pint of milk, tonight I shouted at DH (dear husband) for buying a newspaper at 65p (which can I tell you he read of 30 seconds)LBM Feb 2010 £62,700 Total Debt Jan 11 [STRIKE]£49,403.84[/STRIKE] £47,530.32.
