Day 10 in the Big Brother house of holidays!

Ebay parcelled and ready to go - 17 items!!!!!

I am today half way thru my holiday and have not achieved half of what I wanted to do - gggrrr. O

Of course I am already wishing it away by saying 9 days to go like a mantra!

The inputting takes forever and I know I am a long way off but it will be worth it in the end, I hope

No money in but then no money out!

Drinking coffee and then going to attack the digusting back porch and then off to my favourite place - THE DUMP!

Thank you Taxi, good to hear from you :)

Didn't do any accounting today - need to clear my head to get another good run at it tomorrow I think.

But I did manage to paint the inside of the back door and clear out the porch and give the walls one coat - looks better already. It was only been 3 years since I undercoated the door, no point in rushing these things.

DH went to dump so another load of crap gone

I also took wallpaper off iwalls on inside of a built in dresser we have in the kitchen, and what did I find, only the originial tounge and groove from when house was built (about 300 years ago). It is much nicer than any wallpaper! So now I am going to get some liquid sandpaper, and then freshen it up with cream paint. I am well chuffed! The dresser is mahogany and I constantly debate whether to paint it or not....................but the table and chairs and work top are all mahagony too, so it may look daft! Decisions, Decisions.

Moneywise, had a buy it now on Ebay, which made me happy and transferred another £50 from paypal (see how long this takes to get to A&L). I need to reconfigure payments as well for this coming month. Although we stayed within budget food wise etc, I didn't have enough to cover cc's. Paid too much on business debts and foolishly expected payments for accounts. I need to make sure I have enough to pay minimum's and not bank on cheques coming in! When and if they do, only then should I make big payments to business debt. Another lesson learned.

Hope you are all having fun x

Today will finish painting back porch and sort out ebay - 5 day listings done today will finish on Sunday, which is perfect!

Fingers crossed for you that they don't bank the cheques yet!

It must be so frustrating being owed money from the business accounts and then you end up getting charges just because people can't be assed to pay you on time. Would make me wild!
