Not sure if this would make it better of worse but I remember us having a nest of mahogany-ish tables which developped a few scratched and a decorator who we had round bought us a small bottle of wood stain and filled them in. It was over ten years ago so I can't remember exactly what it was, but it might be worth asking next time you nip into a DIY store. Please call me 'Pickle'

I've often thought I'd love to know the ebay usernames of folks on here trying to clear their debt cos I'm sure there's stuff I look for on ebay which they probably have so it makes sense to buy from them.
Is there an easy way to find out? Do you think I should start a new thread about it somewhere so that we could have a list (or is there something like this already)?Marg0 -

Probably not, but ask an expert anyway as they will have some idea of what to do to help. xPlease call me 'Pickle'

Awh that is really kind of you to try to help out those on here.
However I would imagine that since there are so many people reading the site and lurk, few would want to give up their ebay name in case others steal their ideas and undercut them. I on the hand am only selling 'my rubbish' and am grateful that anyone buys it.
I have occassionally seen posts where people post that they are looking for a particular thing and others have pointed in the direction of an ebay itemLBM Feb 2010 £62,700 Total Debt Jan 11 [STRIKE]£49,403.84[/STRIKE] £47,530.32.

Looks like the only thing is that laminate floor polish, will give it a try. Failing that I will just have to live with my own stupidity.

:rotfl: Yeah, but probably a divorce as well, so count your blessings! :rotfl:
We've all done it - at least, if not the laminate work surface, then something similar - so don't beat yourself up too much. It's not nice to be reminded of your error every time you look at it, but at least it's not damaged to the point of not working any more, so it could be a lot worse. xPlease call me 'Pickle'
