Yay you're back :j
That's pants about the Bank, I agree about writing a letter as it is a matter of principle if they say something then they should stick to it. I sent a cheque in the post on Tuesday and am praying to god it doesn't come out before Monday or I will look a fool and be paying charges!

Thank you Woo - the weekend has been ok. Out with colleagues on Friday - drank too much beer, talked to much (I always talk too much) and yesterday was a wash out - I hate that!
So today I must make up for yesterday and get some jobs done, of which there are many!
1. Wash and Dry Clothes Mountain - started
2. Tidy disgusting mess called a home
3. Vacuum and wash ALL floors
4. List more on Ebay (I am behind in payments, see below, and need to get the extra money together to cover those, as nothing in budget)
5. Do the VAT return (ugg)
6. Do next months' budgets!
We missed our loan payments, because I accidentially on purpose cancelled DDM, so need to find that money ASAP (will pay it when I get paid on Tues but then need to find it for this month, IYSWIM)
Happy Days to everyone!LBM Feb 2010 £62,700 Total Debt Jan 11 [STRIKE]£49,403.84[/STRIKE] £47,530.32.

Well chores being completed slowly
Business Debt now at £10,887 - another £1500ish off from 01/05/10 so its going in right direction. We now have 4 months left till our year end on 31.10.10 and so far business has doubled since last year, which is great. Think we will end the year up about 30%. However that also means a concerted effort to clear as much as possible before year end so need to tighten belts continuely - DH still manages to 'lose' money on regular basis but he is getting better.
Question is can I clear £11k in 4 months - I will try very hard!

Your making great progress on the business debt, I'm sure you will manage to clear the remainder by your year end and it will have been worth all the effort.
Thankfully my OH isn't really into football, I couldn't cope with him sulking for days over the result!LBM Aug 09: £18,650.47 - Current: £12,854.93 (£5946.79)

Mine neither, we actually had to look on line for the result!
I am trying to transfer business accounts to Sage - anyone any good at it - should I buy the 'Dummies' book? I know I am giving myself too much work because I am entering the same information about 3 times (on diff spreadsheets) and I think Sage should be easier but not when you are trying to teach yourself!LBM Feb 2010 £62,700 Total Debt Jan 11 [STRIKE]£49,403.84[/STRIKE] £47,530.32.

Re Cheques - they did bounce them but DH managed to shout enough to get charges refunded. But God it is embarassing as hell. Anyway, at least it didn't cost us anything!
Decided to take today off. I looked at Sage last night and there is much more than I need, found another called VT, it seems to meet our needs and is free - if I need to upgrade I will look at costings again.
