i must admit due to you not mentioning the engine type i just assumed it was diesel as i can see a few others have.
when you said you have googled and found its a common fault i think most here assumed the elloys fluid was low as this is the most common 307 problem we see on here.

i apologise OP, confusion over FAP/DPF is now not an aplicable to this case. my conduct in this has been a little underpar to wich i sincearly apologise to you for the confusion caused.

with the cd player problem i was takeing another look at mine yesterday and noticed that if the player is removed two holes each side of the player insert DIN pins or something that is long and small enough to fit in the holes then disconected the plug at the back of player no ignition on at this point key not in, then with the changer unpluged turned on ignition but not start the car then turned it back off pluged the changer in again (no ignition no key in) and turn ignition back on again the changers lense re alligned itself youll hear the mechanism and lense going inside the changer for about 10-15 seconds, also when removed from dash you can access the changer without takeing any screws out youll notice the changer has a lid you can remove any stuck cds in there if there are any before you do the test and watch the cd lense perform its task, maybe this will help fix the problem of not playing discs.

Youre correct. So I now have all your posts blocked :)
  • Hello thread poster,

i recently bought a peugeot 307 2004 model, 2.0 litre, XSE model petrol engine and i have exactly the same fault. I dont know if it is co-incidence. The CD changer(it's a blaupunkt) is not working, pump washer is not pushing water (not strong enough my mechanic says) and i am getting "Anti Pollution Fault " and the engine light stays on. My mechanic had the fault codes read and it says " Air intake at exhaust fault". i recently bought the car from private owner, so i have to get them fixed myself. have you got the problems fixed? bcoz i believe it will be the same fault that causes your fault is causing mine too. I'll let u know how i go with it. i am not really bothering about it because its not reducing the power or anything like in diesel cars and i only drive 20 - 25 kms everyday. So please keep us posted on what you do to fix your car. Thanks.

    Cheers.
  • Thanks, your solution has solved my Blaupunkt cd changer problem (at last). The only addition I will make is, once the changer has been removed then leave it for a while before refitting. I tried doing it all in one go and it did not work so I took it out again and went and had some lunch! After approx 1hr I refitted it and hey presto it began to reset itself and is now fully operational.

My Peugeot 307 diesel 2.0sw 90bhp display anti polution message and in limp mode and no morethan 3000rpm from the day i bought it. The code reader showed Airbag intermi... fault and Mass air flow fault and fuel pressure pump fault. After clearing all code the fuel pressure pump code is still there and cannot delete. If any one can tell me what this can cause to display fuel pressure pump fault.
