This wasn't that obvious so I would say READ THE T's&C's VERY CAREFULLY!!!:exclamati

You should always read the T&Cs carefully, when applying for any financial (or otherwise) product.

In this case, the T&Cs were very short and simple. Only 14 points, and point 10 clearly said:

10. You will not qualify for this offer if:
You ask us to delay the start of your account transfer
