How how how HOW can you FORGET to pay for something when you have to take it from the basket/ trolley, scan it then put it into a bag. I don't agree with the part of your letter where you say " ..courts take a dim view of companies....where the accused has offered to sort out the issue amicably."
There is perhaps something you have not told us here?If someone is accused and offers to pay,that doesn't usually resolve the issue,as a crime has most likely occurred.Or are you saying it hasn't? If not,why not?

My company uses Civil Recovery Ltd but they ain't based at either of those addresses!
The amount of stuff you have to comfirm on the 2 different forms before they will even start a recovery!0
