Oh and I watched Little Black Book on Friday - forgot about that one! It was ok but not good enough to keep.
I was also given a massive bag of dvds at work today for free so I'll go through those tonight and see if there's any that I want to watch - not very good for clearing space but at least they are free!No more buying books Books in 2016 = 20.
Target for 2018 = 7/21

DD1 and I watched The Invisible, the Swedish version with German subtitles , lol. DD1 is studying Swedish and I can read German. The film was weird (about a dead teenager's ghost) but some actors in it I recognized from Swedish TV. She will take that disc with her to watch with her Swedish friend.First they ignore you, then they ridicule you, then they fight you, and then you win - Gandhi0

I watched 2 more films last night. Lucky Break and Igor. Enjoyed both. I'm pretty sure I've already seen Igor a while ago but it stood up to a rewatch if I had!No more buying books Books in 2016 = 20.

I must admit that I succumbed to nostalgia...2 films I used to have on VHS I treated myself to the dvd versions The Commitments (with the music cd) and Leningrad Cowboys double disc. I was inspired by watching Sing Street in the cinema, the Commitments must have been an inspiration for it. Both will be keepersFirst they ignore you, then they ridicule you, then they fight you, and then you win - Gandhi0

Fondly remember seeing The Committments at the cinema - great film & splendid music! Music on my phone as I type.
Struggling with my DVDS as cannot figure when I can get the minimum 4.6 recurring days I need to watch The West Wing boxset, or are there special rules for multiseason box sets?0 -

I tend to count each season as 1 dvd watched if that helps? I've never seen West Wing but I have friends that love it.No more buying books Books in 2016 = 20.

oh dear, I spent half the night with DD2 sorting out her DVDs, boxes, shelves, stacks of them. Now neatly sorted into :give away to friends with young children (think of any kid's movie published in the last 15 years, we have it!) , CS (only 1 so far: Gladiator) , watch again once, then see above, keep (all Shrek movies!), and lastly: ask DD1 if she wants to keep (teen rom coms). Only 1 or 2 came to me to watch, then to dispose of...
Lots to watch before DD2 moves to Uni - will keep you posted on what we've seen!First they ignore you, then they ridicule you, then they fight you, and then you win - Gandhi0 -
1st progress report!
DD2 and I watched
Flushed Away, what a wonderful gem that was, so witty and funny. Put on DD1's pile.
Our House with a quite young Ben Stiller and Drew Barrymore. A comedy about a young couple buying a house with an old lady as a tenant. Funnier than I had expected! Also on DD2's pile to sort through when she comes back from Sweden.First they ignore you, then they ridicule you, then they fight you, and then you win - Gandhi0 -
Watched Deadpool the other night. Brilliant film - going in my to keep pile.No more buying books Books in 2016 = 20.
