Have done well today, knocking 2 DVDs off my unwatched list. I may have to watch Thor again though because I nodded off for 20mins close to the beginning, though I think I gathered what was going on! Now watching The Black Cauldron. I've put off watching it because it isn't typical Disney for one of the classics and it always looked a bit dark...but what's the point in buying it if I never plan to watch it!? (apart from to have the complete collection!)

OK, so not technically a DVD watched, but a film anyway, which I don't do often, so I'm counting it anyway! Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. (Thanks, BBC!)

I've just borrowed 3 more films from my brother's and the first 2 seasons of Prison Break as his girlfriend was in shock that I'd never seen any of them! So that's just added to my pile. But I'm watching Big already. So while I still haven't bought any more DVDs I have borrowed more before watching my own!

Prison Break is one of my unwatched dvds - people never believe I've never seen them either!

I'm more shocked if you've never seen Big - a brilliant film.
No more buying books Books in 2016 = 20.
    Target for 2018 = 7/21
No more buying DVDs ? 2018 target 27/52

I agree! I've seen it now and it's fab :-) Just watching the first episode of Prison Break while a wash finishes.

Watched The Change-Up last night so that's another borrowed one to return. Have cancelled my LoveFilm account as I can't afford it at the moment. But it may give me motivation to watch the DVDs I own!
I've watched the first 4 episodes of Prison Break and will probably carry on watching it tonight...after a film. I still need to count them up and see how many I have that I've never watched!

  • Very proud of myself this week - I was looking at DVDs to buy and had even put one in my Amazon basket but then got a hold of myself and went straight onto Lovefilm and added them to my rental list instead! :D

  • I've bought 2 more DVDs since I was last looking. I've watched one of them (American Pie) and the other is waiting to be watched when I have time to enjoy it! I'm buying a couple more this week, though they are for other people for Christmas. I've added a couple to my wish list even though I still have a lot to watch!

Ooh, go you: you must be so proud! :T

(That's what this challenge is for! ;) )

P.S. I moved into my own flat and the TV isn't tuned in so I have been watching DVDs instead. The only thing is I haven't been watching new ones as I've not wanted to miss good bits while pottering round doing the bits that need doing, so it has been reruns of Mean Girls, La Haine and the Harry Potters! :D

  • It's Christmas and I've fallen off the no new DVDs wagon! I've bought Elf and The Snowman in the past week but they were only a couple of quid each. I love Christmas and I really like all the films to get me into the festive spirit! Going to have a count up of new DVDs after Christmas and make sure I watch them!
