It's took me 6 weeks to watch 1 film, then started cleaning under the bed and found more DVD's and Vidioe's:eek::eek::eek: when will it end! Still I'v not brought any more so the pile is going down, must give myself a set movie night, unless there's something good to watch on telly:rotfl:

I could do with a set night myself. Except my work schedule is crazy, so it would be quite difficult. But well worth considering.

Hmm...I think I need to work on this...:)

Ha, This is the thread for me.

I have around 400 DVD's but I have watched most of them. I have a shelf where i put the new ones and i have about 7 left to watch.

I think maybe not buying DVDs would be a good way to go, I'm only a student

But saying that me and the boyfriend do get them instead of going out etc. I also do have a lot of box sets!

The 1992 version is fantastic. There is also an 1939 version which I've bought and is on my to-be-watched list...

  • Has anyone tried Lovefilms? I am at present having a free trial with them. Then I may sign up for 2 films a month for £3.99. It's got to be cheaper than buying them.

I haven't tried them, but I have some friends who have. They say it is very good except that you can never be certain what film is going to come and that you have to be pretty organised at watching them as near to when they arrive as possible in order to make the most out of the deal. HTH. :)

I finally finished watching "The Blues Brothers". I really don't get why people love this film - I actually found it more boring than "The Sound of Music"! :rotfl: One for the Charity Shop and i'm afraid only one clap from me:T

Youngest son finished watching Touchwood 2 which he got as a birtday gift.

Finished watching "Life on Mars" series 1 with DS1 and also Merlin series 2 with DS2 - Merlin was totally fantastic - can't wait for series 3 in the Autumn.

Am now watching Life on Mars 2 with DS1 and Desperate Housewives series 1 with DS2.
