Or are you making the assumption that the LA had told LL of the court action?
Hiya - the letter on 11th September doesn't say she is aware of court action but we are assuming she was as otherwise she would have just ignored us (as she'd already had the deposit money from LA by then on 14th August)MFW #185

Hi PB - I will call the court as soon as they open today as I am off.
I will ask them if when I send the letter today I should include any supporting documents. I will also confirm I need to send it to landlady and at which address, as she has 2.
Interesting to note that she did not include supporting documents on her application and that we have not yet received anything else from her to support her supposed claim to set aside judgement.
This is why I want us to get 'in there' today and post evidence off (prob to both of her addresses). Recorded Delivery of course.
This way she should get it tomorrow AM and see what we plan to show in court.MFW #185

Hi all,
Just spoke to court and they said all we need to do is turn up with any evidence we want to show - no need to post anything. We can make copies if we want - one for judge, one for LL at the time. This means she won't know what we have in our weaponry - I wasn't planning on posting evidence to her, only the letter, but I got confused with all the recommendations, plus I thought we were obliged by the court process to send supporting docs.
The lady said def mention what the previous judge said (we have not got the same judge this time sadly) about LA 'skating on thin ice'.
The lady also said to raise a question re the c/o address LL provided on the recent counter-claim form.MFW #185

I'm glad you are getting advice from the court officials. If you have time, I suggest you call in to the court and talk face to face. They are not allowed to give legal advice, but are well-informed about court procedures and in my (limited) experience can be extremely helpful.0 -
