DD is still poorly!!! She went to A&E on Saturday morning by referral from GP.
She had been ill all night and sick continous for 6 hrs and was dehydrated so needed fluids they said it was gastroenteritis but we have only had the sickness si i`m not sure if it is or not. She also has a urine infection so is on her 5 th lot of antibiotics to treat that.
This morning DS woke up sick and is now very poorly it just don`t end!!!
It must be a bug that wont go as this is the 5th week with them being unwell
I can`t wait for payday - i have NO washing powder and have a washing machine full of towels etc that need washing urgently as i`m short on towels as it is. I can`t ask my parents as they are having a finance crisis at the mo and there isnt anyone else who can help out.
We had a letter through on Friday saying the rent is going up in April by £40 a monthGod only knows what that will do to us our food shop is tiny as it is (£90 a month) without cutting that down by £40!!!

DD has been fine for a week - what a long haul that was!!! She was seen by ENT and is having her tonsils out very soon.
DS has a sickness bug but he got over it very quickly and was fine after 2 days.
THEN i got very ill so much so i couldn`t even get out of the house i was so weak and ill with a virus and then developed bronchilitis.
Luckily a lady from the school took DD to school for me and my mum and dad came over to look after DS until DH came home from work each day.
DH gave up betterware, we hadn`t been doing too well and the commision we did get went on petrol (used so much one out territory became further away) so we werent getting anything from it so to speak! Weeks when we did good was great but they were becoming far and in between and just not good enough for what we needed.
I enjoyed it BUT it did start irritating me the time it took and also the commitment we couldnt go out on a thursday (so we missed the market day) Saturdays and sundays were delivery days so we stopped going out meaning we didnt do anything at all as a family. Had the money been good we would of continued but it wasnt worth it unfortunately.
Financially again we are struggling currently have nothing til payday and although we have some food it isn`t enough meaning we dont eat so the kids can.
There is so much stuff to get for the house but it just can`t be done this year at all.
One big help is DD`s bed is being bought by the in laws for her birthday, as yet we have no idea what we will be getting her.
DS also has a birthday 2 weeks before DD, i have got him something luckily was cheap but he`ll love itA remote control jcb crane - should keep him busy!!
I have had to lie to mums at school saying DH is on holiday this fortnight so i couldnt go out for days with them. I can only guess they have rich hubbys as they are always out and about yet don`t work!!
I even lied to a friend about going to her party as i had no money to buy a card or gift nor any petrol to get there - good 2hr drive away.
It really is a bad time, things have just got me down and i think thats why i was so poorly, still got a dreadful throat infection and chesty cough which wont shift!!!!
I don`t even think we will have spending money for our lil holiday to Butlins in JuneWe managed with no spending money last year BUT it isnt ideal at all. I am going to try my very best to get some saved for it though as i want the children to enjoy it and not feel trapped in the `free` world - it isnt nice having to say no ALL the time when they see or want something every other kid is having or wanting a go at.

Hi Sj,
I havent posted on your diary in a while but have caught up with it, Im so sorry to hear how things are with money. I really admire how you always keep your chin up and you are going without food so you kids wont go without. I know that it might not suit but have you looked into a part time job? I know even the job market is a scary place at the min. I really hope things look up for you and your family soon, keep the positive thoughts xx0 -
SJ - you sound thoroughly fed up - sorry to hear things aren't going so well. I have lots of friends who have lots of money mainly through inheritance and it is hard seeing them flash the cash about.
I am sure your little boy will love the crane! Glad DD is on the mend - poor little thing. x

I have only recently gave up doing betterware which was a help and gave us between £20-£40 a week which was for food but it got less and less and as DH had taken on areas further the petrol use was mad so we gave that up last week.
I have put ads in the shop near us and my parents for cleaning/ironing and have been looking for little jobs. Even more embarrassing i asked on facebook LOL! Desperation got to me i think!
Issue with the money stems from DH having a loan to pay back each month, although it is manageable it is still a chunk of money we would be able to get by each month and have money to do things we wanted ie, days out or meal out etc.
DH has loads of stuff for a boot sale, mainly things he has found at work - all being well it will be gone this weekendWill mean an empty shed AND some £`s.
DD`s bed is being ordered next week by the in laws and tomorrow her desk, chair and bedside cabinet is coming - birthday gifts from my parents as she has so many toys she don`t need anything.
I have today emptied her room completely and cleaning and polished the floor, skirtings etc ready for her new stuff and have had a bit of a clear out of her wardrobe (she is growing too fast!!) and toys she no longer wanted we have added to the bootsale pile. Washed and ironed all the side curtains and general spring cleaned upstairs today and has made me feel better knowing it all clean and fresh - fingers crossed i got rid of any bugs lurking!!
I gave in and used some of my £50 overdraft yesterday it is a planned one which has helped alot, We got food to last us til payday. DH said he will put some money into my bank when he gets paid so my account will be back in credit.
I am feeling a lot better about things, there are people worse off then us and who are not fortunate enough to be in a stable happy relationship and have health on their side. Just hard when things get on top of you.
Illness didnt help, i was feeling so ill and then with worry about money it made me feel very deep about life in general and a bit panicky.DebtFree FEB 2010!Slight blip in 2013 - Debtfree Aug 2014 :j

I love how you are always so upbeat, you take it in your stride and get on with things. I know what you mean, its so easy to feel so low about money but when you have a loving happy family, it makes you feel thankful to have that when others dont. Hope you have some success with finding some work, its so hard at the min. Fingers crossed you make some extra pennies or pounds from the boot sale, if the weather is good it always gets more people out and about :-)0
