Our washing machine has broken, luckily it is insured until next August so they are coming out on Monday! Been hand washing and mum has helped with the bedding and drying!!

Betterware - We had another really good week over £270 in orders and got £55 commision from last weeks orders.
In total so far since the 1st July we have earnt £608.92:j

People always say oh waste of time but i disagree tbh, we dont spend a lot of time doing it and have earnt a good amount. We spend an hour on a thursday bagging goods up, making up the catologues. Then spend about 2hrs on a friday delivering books.
Then on a sunday we go out and do the goods approx 1hr, any that are not in we leave our number and they call to arrange a day/time.

Shame we didnt save it as i wanted too could of had my wardrobes by now

Washing machine was fixed :jThe pump was blocked up so that was sorted out and i am a very happy bunny.

Betterware sales £300.64p :D woohoo!! Commission this week from last weeks sales we got £56.54!
Our coordinater has said we should get the bonus of £125:j:T

Had a really down day yesterday and was so emotional all day, Started off when i woke from a dreadful night sleep. Old Mattress on the floor is not good and i am really struggling to sleep now as is DH.
Done washing and ironing and when i took my clothes upstairs to the `suitcases`:( i found that some of my tops had been hung up on the back of the bedroom door were dusty
I was so fed up i left a stupid status on FB and my step MIL saw it.
This afternoon i get a call from her saying that she is going to buy us a bed :A

SO pleased and can`t wait, means i now only have to save for the wardrobe and then i can get cracking on our room AT LAST!! DH has said he will give me £50 a month towards it which is better then nothing :)
I found a good bed store that has sales on all year round continuous, when i last went in (sale of 20%) they had a double divan with mattress and 4 drawer storage + free delivery for £280 so hoping i can grab a better deal with hopefully a higher % of sale too. I will probably go at the weekend and i may even ask about upcoming sales.

Well done on the betterware sales - how fab - you will be able to afford the wardrobes in no time. We are skint too at the mo and I am desperate for a new hall carpet but think it may be before next spring before I can even get some prices - but hey ho!:D

WELL its been a while since i came on here, i need to get cracking on being more MSE addicted again!!!
We got our bed :) AMAZING sleeps now and we both feel a huge benefit from it!!

Now betterware sales have been poor the last 2 weeks, not entirely sure whats happened but we are hoping it picks up again soon.

Last Friday Morning my laptop charger decided to blow on me:mad: so i had to buy a new one, so have been offline for a bit while i gathered some funds for it.

Then the same day on Friday evening our sofa broke :( DFS one of course - 8 yrs old!!
I heard a bang and thud and when i went in my DD and DS were hiding i said what was that noise and DD said the sofa!!! SO i looked underneath only to find a piece of wood hanging down through the underneath covering and springs!! The whole thing has fallen to the floor and is currently held up off my flooring by a large piece of cardboard to prevent it from marking the flooring!!
ANYWAY i saw on SCS that they have a 4yrs free credit thing going, delivery before xmas. No interest and monthly instalments of £10+ SO went online to see and found a lovely corner unit (cheaper then 2 sofas) and decided we would do that which worked out £22 a month. BUT today my parents came round and told us THEY were buying it.
After a HUGE row and i mean a proper row i have given in and tomorrow morning we are going to SCS to buy a new sofa which is a corner unit and looks very nice indeed.
Then she asked my husband to take her to the shop to get something so off they went. An hour or two later they came home.
She had only made him go to the local garage and bought us 4 new tyres for the car!!!! £355 + vat etc!!!:(

It is a HUGE weight off of us BUT make me feel so guilty!!
NOW all this is because my dad had a bank loan and was struggling to pay it as he was made redundant and they wouldnt reduce min payments nor remove the PPI he had paid! SO mum took a loan out today at her bank - small interest charges too:money:, paid off my dads debt at 5pm today:j The loan she has is much more manageable and has made things much easier financally for them now! The money left over from the loan she has spent on US!!
My argument was that they needed a new bathroom suite, bits for them selves. BUT they both said NO they didnt want it, they had nothing they needed and that they wanted to buy us the sofa and get the tyres!!
Makes me cry just thinking about all this!!

SO DH has just called his poorly grandad who lives up north and told him we will now be going to see him in a few weeks. We have been putting it off for so long as we had no tyres and couldnt chance using the car incase!
He is terminally ill and it is quite important we see him ASAP! I have been worried sick we would miss out on seeing him as i have a feeling he dont have much longer with us :(

SO things are OK. Just a bit guilty and feel very lucky/spoilt!
Makes me feel i rely too much on others to help, thing is i dont EVER ask and NEVER accept without a fight!!

I have made it quite clear i DON`T want anything else, NO xmas or birthday presents this year.

Ahh lovely parents eh! I know how you feel but if it were your children I am sure you would do the same - I know I would do anything for mine. My M & D are fab and always buying bits for the kids and helping out - would really struggle without them. But my mum always says she wished she had been helped out by her parents which she never was.
Enjoy the sofa and dont feel guilty!:D

    OK.
Bills are paid and everything is fine in that respect BUT we now have no money at all from now til Jan :(
We let DD put the Xmas tree up last night with my help and she had so much fun, DS has been excited all day and has enjoyed watching me put the little decorations up around the lounge and the musical Xmas teddies :)

NOW they have some presents from us but tbh it is not enough, i like them to have a morning of opening pressies (albeit cheap ones) but they do only have minimal amount from us (i`m so glad we got some!) LUCKILY both parents have bought amazing presents AND this year for the first time they have pressies from their godmother and niece!
DD is that much older now that she is liking more grown up things and will be starting school in Jan so by next yr im sure she will come home with a list!!
Mum and dad are over for xmas day and mum is doing the food shop using her Morrisons saving stamps. She does Xmas every year but has asked if they can come to us. Dad will be doing the dinner as usual but i plan on helping and doing the wash up etc.

Anyway this has made me think about it all and i am already planning Xmas 2011:eek: LOL! I want a perfect Xmas how i had it when i was a child. I am going to do everything throughout the year including the hot summer months i will be planning and getting things.
SO DH came home from work today and he had found 2 medium sized hampers :money: Very nice indeed and in perfect condition, need freshening up but will make fab hampers for the parents :T

I already got my special Xmas cards and when writing them out i found i had bought 4 Auntie and Uncle cards instead of just 2, SO i have 2 cards already for next Xmas haha!

After putting things back in the shed last night a small carrier bag fell out of a box and inside was 2 packs of gift bows and about 100 gift tags SO i wont need them for next yr! :rotfl:

I am going to go out in Jan and get my special cards and general cards and put them in with the xmas tree storage bag. That way i will save by getting them cheap and i wont lose them and will know where they are :)

I will be making our parents a hamper each, i will be buying BOGOF`s and collecting sample bottles of bits and bobs and also finding nice bits from £ stores to bulk the hampers out such as sponges/flannels/razors/nail care/slippers/socks etc.

I will also be making everyone a pot of gold each - gold wrapped choc/sweets in a gold pot with a scratch card or lotto ticket inc children :)

I am also going to keep £10 a month in my bank account and will be using the freebies low spend board on MSE and will see what i can get for a few £`s - perfect!

I will be buying nibbles and tins of sweets at halloween - this halloween we didnt and they were dirt cheap with next yrs date on them!!

SO this year may be a bit of a downer for me but next yr i WILL be making it very special and perfect. Dare i say relaxing not so stressed!!!

Must be a omen i ordered 4 weeks ago a present for my DS and i have been waiting for it to be delivered. Got an email saying expected delivery 10th Dec.
This morning i get an email statoing it is out of stock and the money has been deducted from my account! Good i suppose saved me a bill in the NY.

I have the crazy feeling of just getting catologues again and running up huge bills!! I wont do it AGAIN!
So have refrained from doing it.

I have never been so unorganised in my life, this is what causes debt im totally convinced.

The kids will have a lovely xmas honestly! Being at home with there family will be so nice and they will love the bits you got them. I must admit I didnt start saving till June and it really helped. But I like you am going to be more organised and start in Jan - I am going to start giving my mum some money each month to hang onto till nov - that should help. I always get my wrapping paper, cards etc in the sales - I have never paid full price for them as yet:D
    Keep updating x
