You should come back over and DH and I would be more than happy to take you round - we took lots of photo's today (we like having competitions to see who can capture the best picture)
That's very sweet of you - thankyou. I have fond memories of south notts, I'll just have to try and get over my abhorrence of certain parts of the county....
Sarah, glad DD is home and on the mend.
Feeling a lot perkier today so I think I've beaten the cold into submission. Work this morning and then writing this afternoon.
I'm off to London on Weds for some training but looking at the Met Office forecast, it seems it may be an interesting journey.... time will tell.I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Hello everyone,
Can I join in? I need some motivation to get back on top of the housework again! I started Flylady over a year ago but got fed up of the constant emails. I changed it to daily ones and now I hardly ever read it. I have a nearly three year old son and a husband and they both seem to do their best to make the place a mess and not clean up behind themselves, and by the time my son goes to sleep I have neither the energy or motivation to get anything done! I'll have to start by just doing level 1 stuff, as my table is currently covered in all the kitchen stuff that doesn't fit into my new kitchen! We had it replaced and they didn't put in as much storage as we had before they replaced it.0 -
please count me in for this week - going to need some structure to the half term madness!weaving through the chaos...0

That sounds so familiar!
You need one of these so you will be noticed and added to the list:xmastree:
Sarah - I was wondering where you had got to - so sorry to hear that DD was hospitalised, but glad she is now on the mend. She of course will be your first priority so flying can take a back seat for now.
I woke up this morning with an idea for a chapter for my book, so will be writing that today - done the notes already, so just need to do a bit of research about the difference in thinking between mena nd women - ie men are supposed to think logically and women, emotionally. Then get all the words down.
Right, that plus flying plus getting the necessary wood to make a garden gate should keep me busy all day! My kitchen was lovely and clean most of last week, but somehow over the weeknd it has got into a mess again

Hi ladies,
I'm in this week but not sure what levels I can do - half term, visitors later in the week and DH in hospital from later this morning.
But will have a furious 2 hours cleaning starting about 11.30, hospital is only 5 mins away and can't think of any reason to sit in an empty room for 3 hours whilst he's being sorted, so will come home and keep busy!
So plans are rather flexy today but whatever I do seem to involve lots of driving back and forth.
MoamAlthough no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.
Snowball says too far away, working hard to bring it forward.0 -
Morning everyone ... it's half-term :j
We had a huge effort to clear up last week as the in-laws came to stay friday / saturday so i'm not starting from scratch like i normally do in the holidays :rotfl:
So far today I have loaded dw & washed up other dishes, made dh lunch for him to take to work & am just looking at the 2 washing mountains as i type. 1 clean waiting to be sorted & put away, 1 dirty waiting to be sorted & washed!

:(. Suppose I'd better get the third one ready to go, and then have a look at some stuff which may well change my plans for the rest of the year's writing...
Kitchen is greatly improved from before the weekend, so if I manage to get myself organised I SHOULD be able to get it done today (which will be handy as I have half a dozen people coming over for pancakes tomorrow evening...)0 -
So far done not very much, except work! Just had a longish msn conversation about how to deal with child abduction
Thanks for the link Greenbee and inspiration vibes coming your way. Not sure how it happens- just woke up that way this morning!

Morning all!
Thanks to the good flyladies who run the thread! Your hard work is much appreciated!
DD2 has a mate coming round today - which will be a good test of how she is doing - she missed Thurs and Fri at school with a very sore throat. Saw the GP on friday- he thought she would feel better in couple of days.......
She's livelier and less whiney (she's 16...but never ill and a really bad patient)...but her throat is still sore. Will give it a bit longer before going back to GPs....
DS at work today and DD1 is having the cervical cancer jab out of choice - she missed it at school but GP is willing to give it to her so I will be pushing the wheelchair this afternoon! She has raised the possibility of coming back the long route for some more fresh air.....so I may try and push the wheelchair round the Coop! Cue Laurel and Hardy music.......
Off to do a HHC so the house looks semi-decent!:jFlylady and proud of it:j0
