its not that bad soappie!
Thanks for wishes for DS Toots, I'm sure he will be fine spending his birthday money tomorrow, he got £90 lucky boy!
I have a question for those with kids- are mid sleepers any good? MY DS is 5 and we want him to have a big boy room and DD is climbing in her cot so might do a bed swap as she has the big room so will have more room for the single bed with the guest bed underneath which DS is in (will be swapping mattresses of course!)
Oh and thanks for birthday wishes, now am really off to sort out my wardrobe after spending an hour on FB nattering to 2 friends! oops! night nightCross Stitch Challenge Member ?Number 2013 challenge = to complete rest of millenium sampler.0 -
Yippee! I've managed to get two pieces of work into first draft and sent off to my mentor to rip to shreds review before they go public. I'm not overly happy about them, but hopefully they're what's needed. Good thing it's the kitchen tomorrow... it's still not back to normal after last week, but should be manageable if I have plenty of breaks during the day. I've got some laundry to hang up/sort out/put in the machine, and need to have a brief walk before bed. Things are hopefully back to normal for a few weeks. Builders are back in a month, assuming my dad manages to beat a quote and some idea of timings out of them (as they're friends they are very casual about this, but he's going to tell them they can't come back if they don't give me some idea of costs and timings). He's also very kindly volunteered to come and stay down here if I'm travelling and get them to do the work then, as he won't be working so it won't be such hard work for him. I now need to sit down and rework my budget for the work (including the inside stuff) so I know what I can and can't afford to do. Thanks to piggers(although having seen the list, they're reluctant thanks), toots & soappie for the thread. And for some reason my formatting and smilies don't work :rolleyes:0

I'm in, after a fashion! I will be trying to do some flying tomorrow and hopefully a short walk too. I've got a grown up coming on Tues (rescheduled from the other week) so I would like the place to be a bit tidier than it is now, although it's still nice and clean thanks to all of DH's efforts before the holiday!
I've had a bath so at least I'm nice and clean. It's actually given me more energy which is odd as I nearly fell asleep while in there! I found a nice CD to listen to which I'd forgotten, it's called Acoustic Love and was very nice.
See you all in the morning, night night

I'll try and explain if I get a few jobs done in the morning, we can do fun stuff in the afternoon. Full of cold so off to bed now.2 adults 3 children

Evening ladies. I'm defintely in again. Half term week so no excuses.
I managed to darn the torn eiderdown and work my way through most of Mt Ironmore. Have also change the bedding today, vacuumed throughout and sorted out the cupbaord under the sink. So not too bad really.
On Wednesday, I need to get to Leeds for 8:30 for a speed awareness course. I was clocked doing 35 in a 30 zone so serves me right. In my defence though, the car was being a real cowbag and kept cutting out (because of the cold I presume) so I stupidly put my foot down to try and stop it.
I think I might have a dry run tomorrow as it is in a part of Leeds I have never been to before and don't fancy getting lost
Here is to a productive week for everyoneTwins, twice the laughs, twice the fun, twice the mess!:j:j0 -
