Im in this week but may not do very much tomorrow as its my birthday so am planning to go to Notts on train with DS, dd will be at nursery as i have to pay in the hols and I havent had a day with just me and him for ages, get 2 a week with her.
Had DS 5th birthday party today , wnet really well, food lovely, cake nice if I do say so myself. all going well until my DS fell off one of the bikes provided at the party and split his lip open:eek::eek: cue much screaming, blood everywhere. What made me really angry was the reason it happened was due to one of the handlebars not having an end cap on so his lip was split on the bare metal:mad::mad: He was so upset and said he didnt want to blow his candles out bless. Surely they are responsible for checking the equipment before they set it out? Anyway he is fine now and did blow his candles out after all.
Thanks to the ladies, hugs to sarah and her dd, and all the poorlies.
Have had a big g&t, am shattered but want to clear my clothes cupboard out tonight to see what I need and can buy with my birthday money as I am either too fat for some clothes or totally fed up of the rest as lots of it is sooo old.

  • I'm in this week please.

Did finish level 3 every day last week but have only just made it to pc since Mon morning!! Don't know how I'll manage this week with 2 youngest off school for week:eek::eek: Still, lots of others in same boat.

Not sure what i've done to reply box. Every time i type a few words, I get a blank where I've typed and I have to keep going to font box (which reverts to say 'font') and changing it to a specific font. Same with text size box. Must have hit some button in my haste to type quickly, i'm so dopey:o (just blame it on the tablets!!). Now I've looked at preview post there is no text at all:eek::eek: changed txt size to 4 from 3 and it's thre. what's going on?? Help please:o Going to post and hope for best!

Fixed wm last week after it flooded twice all over kitchen floor. Finally realised what the little door at the bottom of machine was :oa filter!!
after I'd de-gunked it:eek::eek: it performed beautifully and spun out a treat!!

Hope everyone has a good week with all the extra help about :D Sorry, haven't managed to catch up with last weeks postings.
Hugs and healing thoughts to all who need them.

Thanks as always :T:T:T to you all for holding my hand through this de-cluttering maze :A:A:A Granny

Projects made for craft fair - 40 :)
    1st fair on 13/4/14 :j
  • I'm in again this week :j

Thanks to Pigpen, Soappie and Toots :T for all the effort you put in x Just wanted to let you know that for the first time in my life, I am starting to enjoy cleaning - think I am getting OCD with the bathroom, just had a bath and asked DH if he thought I was getting OCD as I couldn't get out the bath without first wiping down the tiles, taps, bath, plug turner thing and the shower screen.......

Hi to Valli, hope your not feeling too poorly

Hi to AnW'sMum, glad the superglue worked for Ds, I know how it feels when something like that happens to stuff that helps you remember x

Big hi and hugs to Toots and RosePink because they are both so lovely and caring people x

We've had a lovely day here, watched a few birds come to my new bird station in the garden this morning which was lovely to see - our new hobby is birdwatching!

We have been for about a 5 mile walk this afternoon around Clumber Park and then came home and have just decluttered a Chinese - 2 takeaways this week - must do better :o

Monday looks a challenge I love doing the kitchen but doing the tops of the wall units means up the ladders - should be ok to manage this tomorrow as I have osteo in the afternoon - after my meeting with my new mentee :T
It's nice to be nutty but's more important to be nice
