Massive hugs Pigpen, would you be able to get a crisis loan from the DSS? Will the mortgage company not hold off until the HB has been sorted? Make sure you get on to HB and tell them how urgent it is, it's shocking you've only had 1 payment since September. Can KH do anything?

Jo you made me laugh about the dog :rotfl:is he ok?

that's it.. I give up.. someone either shoot me now or loan me a gun and I'll bloody well do it myself.. I have a very very long tether but I am now at the end of it.. my head is shot... I need £700 within the next 24 hours or the mortgage company are starting repossession proceedings ... I've had 1 housing benefit payment made back in September and not a penny since.. and I can't afford it.. they are now saying there isn't even a claim in place!
I can't offer anything contructive except sympathy, but DFW board will know what to do. I'd start with a cup of tea and a list of all the carp.
Oh and my smear result came throught this morning and it's normal this time :T. I need to go back again in 6 months for another one, but really relieved.
    Great news, bravo!

Re the mortgage, contact your solicitor re the divorce tell them that you are now in danger of losing the house....also the CSA, if you are not going to Uni you have nothing to lose, maybe also Citizens advice....I thought the mortgage companies were supposed to offer some respite....interest free and all that.

Housing benefit, ring again and speak to manager...

Is there any chance your OH can do some temporary work...anything via agencies???
    All sounds v.sensible.

After keys' experience, decided to check the smoke alarms were working with actual smoke. They do, thanks goodness, but is a bit smoky here now:rotfl:

How terrible Pigpen. I have no advice, but you are in my thoughts.

Sorry, no real flying done here today.

Have been to town for a few bits (milk especially) and have decluttered a box on the landing (taken out all the stuff that I could simply chuck in the bin and binned it). Still getting ready for the weekend - I really dont want to go, but have to (besides I get paid for it, so I had better go!)
