Greenbee you need to get yourself a man.;)
    that bit I'd worked out...
greenbee this comes into the category of offering annoying unasked-for advice, but surely your DB knows some eligible men? Think he would need to be super-bright and either very alpha or majorly laid-back.
Sounds like you've got me worked out. Majorly laid-back might result in me killing them... then again, it might mean I become a little less hyper.... My brother clearly isn't doing his job properly - I know all his old friends really well, the closest ones are really like extended family and I treat them as such... I'll have to get his wife to work on him as he must meet some new people who might be suitable!

I now have blimmin sinus pain and earache...isn't it just my luck that I am ILL when I am off on holiday anyway...I tried to gargle with aspirin solution this morning but failed miserably - I keep 'thinking' I am going to drown and either retch it up or swallow it.
me too... I've called my dad (about something else anyway) and apparently I've got flu. But don't gargle with the aspirin, just swallow it. I'll PM you in a mo...

Can't remember what else I wanted to say. I'm trying not to go back to bed - if I get dressed I can go into the village and stock up on stuff to make me feel better. And I could tidy the kitchen as I don't appear to have put anything away yesterday. Not much hope of getting any work done though as my brain seems to have melted...
  • I have already showered and dressed, been to the post office and posted 3 parcels, done a Mr A shop and got my prescription - and all before 10:30!

Am now waiting for my friend to arrive and we are going for elevenses!

Ha ha when his mental control had switched from his brain to somewhere else?!:rotfl:

Bad news, hope doc gets it sorted.

triker do you have Lyme's ? Was it from a tick? My uncle has that.

    .

Yes hun, been on antibiotics for 6/7 months now, reponding well but its been a journey. I was bitten by something in May last year (I think this is what set it off). How is your Uncle doing and what treatment has he had?

I have had to pay privately to be treated as the NHS don't recognise how serious Lyme disease is or give you sufficient treatment.

Hey Piggers, sounds ominous re your bloods hun, hope it summat that can be sorted. You sound like you've had enough, by the sounds of it too much stress, I hope you get some respite from it all soon. Any chance you and OH an have a quiet weekend somewhere just the two of you when the children are at their dads?

Mum has now gone and I'm in the process of having a bit of a sort out in the conservatory - don't ask me why as it's a major job but at least it might be a bit clearer. Plus as it keeps trying to snow I can't put the furniture outside to give me room to work which is why it is normally done later in the year.

    HHC 11.30 - 12 anyone?

They can scream and they can growl and they do little squeaks sometimes.

They often do that screaming noise as they die.. good job you didn't know that earlier isn't it lol
we had a rabbit screaming on a Bank Holiday once (we'd found one dead, suddenly, the day before) - a dreadful sound - vets were found and visited and we came home sans rabbit, having taken a very small DD to the vets with us...one of lifes' lessons there and us realising that the euphemism 'put her to sleep' isn't very helpful when you're dealing with a child.
One of my rabbits (when I was a teen) always growled at me prior to 'going for' me - she learned to HATE me, that one! I couldn't put my hand in the hutch!

    am still snotty BTW!

JJ I teeter about in heels all days but not high ones...

I will clean in a bit and I must sort out my camera...and mark assessments...but I have a good book on the go (Deathly Hallows for the second time) and I can't put it down....

My mum has given me £12.00 in tesco vouchers rescued from sis, since they're not in my name, I shall go and spend them on petrol:money:

Sorry, I didn't pick that up. Uncle not really getting any treatment, but he's 70 odd, and just nhs so maybe thats why. Thats pretty rank if they don't treat it properly, its really easy to get here in Devon.
