that's it.. I give up.. someone either shoot me now or loan me a gun and I'll bloody well do it myself.. I have a very very long tether but I am now at the end of it.. my head is shot... I need £700 within the next 24 hours or the mortgage company are starting repossession proceedings ... I've had 1 housing benefit payment made back in September and not a penny since.. and I can't afford it.. they are now saying there isn't even a claim in place!

Pigpen, I work in this area, so get yourself off to East Yorks CAB in Hull, or to the Hull CLAC and they'll give you the specific advice that you need.

Do remember that even if your lender starts posession proceedings, that's still a way off your being evicted. Also, in the current climate, lenders are falling over backwards not to evict people, but they'll only stave off moving to posess if you talk to them, so contact your lender and tell them that you're seeking advice from CAB/CLAC.

Please PM me if you need more help, as I may be able to give you more details if you need them.

    Penny. x

I hope you can manage to get things sorted soon pigpen. And take all that good advice you have been given.

I posted this morning but it seems to be another one lost in cyberspace.

Not managing much flying this week and the internet has been rubbish all week, keeps cutting out or not working at all.

Have half done todays' jobs and have then given up to snuggle up with a film to watch. May do a bit more later.

Piggers - wish I had some advice for you, please take notice of what everyone, esp Penny, has said

Jo - my dog ate half a box of thorntons too and luckily he threw it up in 2 massive lots an hour or so afterwards. Thankfully this cleared him out and he was ok. He stole them sneakily and even now he sniffs wistfully at the other box! I send him away with a flea in his ear! Hope your dog is ok and it is not too costly

Piggers - fingers and toes crossed for you :( xx
hollyh - I've got a thing that my camera SD card plugs into and then it plugs into the USB on the computer. You can then choose which piccys to transfer. Don't know what it's called but cost £3 from computer shop and now I never have to find the camera lead again!
JulieJim - my kids have tubs in their rooms for their shoes/slippers and we also have a basket by the backdoor for school shoes etc. It works pretty well, and they have no excuse for not knowing where to put their shoes when asked to shift them off the floor!

It's snowing here. I have sorted all the coats I have been given for DS and boxed them and labelled the box! He has coats to last until he is 8!! (he's 2 now). Got rid of a load more carp from the attic, and cleared DS's room of outgrown clothes which will be passed to a friend whose son has reflux - he gets through loads of changes a day.

Now just have to start on todays list...

LadyL - you just browse and only post when you feel like it. It's nice to know you are lurking and we're all sending you good vibes. xx
